I have this weird sense of "understanding" when it comes to Jason Donovan and what he went through, particularly with drugs... I personally have never done drugs, but my eldest sister died from a heroin overdose and she taught me so much about what it means to be an addict, even though I personally have never gotten "high" (Ive never even smoked a joint etc). I know JD was a cocaine abuser, but a drug is a drug right? Anyway, I am so glad he has gotten his life back on track. I dont know, but I always had high hopes for him. I guess maybe cause of the whole Michael Hutchence (whom I also adore) thing, I kinda think had Michael not came along, Kylie and Jason relationship may have turned out differently? For all the people asking why Jason didn’t sing, it was because it was all very last minute, it wasn’t planned for him to sing with Kylie or even appear on stage with her at all. Just an hour before the show Kylie asked him to dance with her, Jason actually cycled there on his bike. So just enjoy the spontaneity for what it is instead of moaning about it!
