Ty for supporting our people!! I really appreciate all my fav Asian you tubers giving extra attention to the Asian hate crimes during this time! I am Chinese -American as are my children, and within the last 2 years we have faced attacks in our neighborhood of Forest Hill's.
Although it was sad to see the Golden Shopping Mall close, there are a couple of large food halls that have opened since, Flushing is always changing. Sending love and respect to Asian people everywhere!!!!
First TJ I have to say I appreciate you and thank you for thinking of the elderly your a great woman I also love the videos as usual and can't wait for the day you come to California and eat some good Mexican food keep up the great work!!!
Awesome, i love your channel and you are so funny and down to earth. I watch your videos to know how to organize my food videos on my trips when im ready. Thank you 🤗
Omg so many memories of when I used to live in Corona queens I loved this food stall seriously a hidden gem there was also another one like underground in Flushing too but I always forget where that one is or if it even exists anymore
You really are incredible TJ..🥰 I love all the different food you ate what a great place to eat ..My favorite was the soup dumplings 🥟 and the steamed bun with meat so DELICIOUS..Your videos are amazing you are hilarious and so entertaining...mwah ...x😍💗
Hello TJ all the food looked yummy I agree with you 1000% about taking care of the elderly I made my donation.Wishing you and everyone there well Take Care Dear
I went there last year, one of the best food courts ever! The selection of food is amazing and was excited because there’s happy lemon. The meat buns look soo good!
A Macaroni, a Penne and a Spaghetti were drinking wine in a bar one evening. They saw a noodle sitting by himself and discussed inviting him to join them. They all agreed he looked Cannelloni.
I’m dying for some stinky tofu and that meat cake at the end looks awesome. In Bklyn so can’t get to Queens until the pandemic is over but for sure I’ll get to that food court ASAP. Love the video and the shout out to Stop Asian Hate. Thanks!
That is a really cool place , awesome that you are sponsoring this organization. Sadly ,we will be judged by how we treat our elders and our children .
This is my favorite of all the food courts!!! I found it totally by accident a few years ago when I went into flushing....just to shop for an afternoon!! I actually walked in just looking for a bathroom and found this amazing place! It’s kinda hard to order at some of the stalls because I can’t read Chinese but I was able to find many tasty things! Now every time I visit New York I come here....and now I always stay in Flushing Chinatown too, it’s such an awesome place!! Thanks for the video, now I can try some new things on my next trip....once Covid had calmed down! Keep up the awesome videos!
When I heard you will be uploading a video today I was so happy! It's been a while... I hope you're doing fine. Everything looks so delicious as always, I wish we could have this variety of culture and food in my hometown, it seems to fulfill your heart and soul. Also I hope that these awful things that are happening stop, you guys have my support. Lots of positive energy and love from Mexico.
Dear CupofTJ, I’m Doug from Charlotte NC just found your site and it put me in a great mood, could not stop laughing at some of your antics... I’m working on setting up my own Chanel starting first in the USA... would love to travel to Vietnam for about three months stating that in 2022.. I taught Culinary Arts in the largest high school in NC and took my students to NYC and exposed them to China Town and little Italy but I really enjoyed your visit of the food court and when things settle down some more go back up for a by myself or a small group of friends and pig out... would be interested to talk some time to bout some places you like but again loved your video... Doug
The tofu like things in the Liang Pi are wheat gluten. Liang Pi seems like a simple dish but it is actually quite complex to make. The noodles are actually made from The Leftover wheat starches that are produced when making wheat gluten. The wheat gluten is the proteins from the wheat flour. In the process of making the liang pi you have to make a dough, then wash the do to separate the wheat proteins from the starches. The noodles are made by steaming the starches, which is an arduous process as well So, this very seemingly humble and simple dish actually requires quite a great deal of effort, time, and skill
Carbs, carbs and more carbs. I love noodles and envy all those wonderful places you eat at. I support your efforts on promoting the fight against racist crimes against Asians. Keep on trucking.
Excellent video on a under the radar food court! Try the Wenzhou stall (might be called Golden Corner), Spare ribs noodle soup, Fried crispy pork belly, ban mian (vinegary noodles) and pigs ear with chinese celery.
