I absolutely love mine. Picked it up a little over a month ago as soon as I got the email from Bereli announcing the $49 sale. I'm a big fan of Kershaw. I have a bunch of their "speedsafe" openers and some flippers but this is the first one without some kind of assist. The longer I have it, the more I like it!!😃👍🏻
Definitely a great looking & comfortable knife. I also like the fact that there is no pocket clip, more convenient for that type of knife I would say. I also liked the fact that you've made a very close capture video, it's nice when we can watch all the details, you got my attention sir. Thks for sharing!
Very cool! Thank you for checking it out Vader! Its nice to get a good close up instead of watching a video with the knife so far away or a face in the frame.😂😂
I picked one up a while back after Jersey Guy mentioned it. I *really* like it, despite the fact that it’s not a slipjoint. I also had been wanting to try out CPM-154 blade stock for a long time, but could never find it except for expensive special-edition Buck 110. I love the feel of the burlap Micarta, and the blade was sharp right outta the box. Can’t believe it’s USA made! Bereli’s $49 price (including shipping) finally sold me on it. I highly recommend to everyone. I also have a Kershaw “Iredale” stockman which I found to be great for the price. I think I’m going to have to pay more attention to Kershaw.
So very cool yah got one! The price is amazing. They will not be around long now that I posted the link! Great knife. Thanks for checking it out Mike! I appreciate you brother!
I like the Micarta for sure!! Just not a fan of double detent knives. I have been wanting the Kershaw Bel-Air for a modern EDC. Thanks for sharing Andrew!
Oh how i say Micarta? Yah thats me forever making fun of Kevin Boston Blades Reviews. Thats how he says it and it has stuck with me 😂😂😂Guess Pete says it the same way also! Thanks Elcap!!
Couple of minor issues, but I actually really like it, looks go a long way with me, it has great lines. It’s definitely going on the list, as soon as my wife stops holding the card hostage because of my latest spending spree.😂🤣
I like the looks and details of the knife but I just got through buying multiple versions of the Iridium and so I’ve exhausted my knife budget. One of the last Kershaw knives I bought was their double detent slip joint, the Esteem.
I could not believe the price. I am very glad I found out about it . I have wanted this one for a long time. It's probably going to be my only double detent though. Thank you for checking it out Kevin.
When these first dropped they were really pricey. So I opted for the copper version Culpepper with double detent. It's OK, but for me really made it apparent I want a backspring, and on a blade that large, a stout one to boot. It's also why I'm passing on that new modern micarta folder Case just dropped.
I agree with you 100%. Kenneth. I'm not so sure. I like the Double d tent. This is my only one and it may be my last. It's a good knife. I'm just used to the good back springs.
@@BaxtersBlades they made a keychain sized one in carbon fiber with a spear point and a cap lifter when closed. It was like a friction folder that clicked into the detent. At that size it works and is pleasurable. I forget what it was called
I ordered one from Beneli also. Unfortunately, it appears mine is lost in shipping. Beneli shipped it on June 6th. USPS tracking initially stated Expected Delivery June 10th. On June 10th the tracking info changed to Delivery Delayed, Moving Thru The Network. That hasn't changed since the 10th. We'll see how it all plays out since I have contacted Bereli twice already with no resolution.
I fully agree 1911! Guess its easier to take apart and blow out with air. But im use to back springs. Guess i just like knives to snap closed by themselves. 😊
I hear you Kathleen. I prefer a normal slip joint over this any day. But this is one I've wanted to try for a long time and I'm glad I did not spend $100 for it.
It is a really good knife less than half the price originally if you like this style it's a deal So if you prefer a traditional slip joint this may not be the best for you I do like it and having it in my collection especially for a USA made Kershaw. And free shipping Thanks for checking it out Big E!

Very cool Ted. Now I have 5 Kershaws.
Very cool piece, buddy! Thanks for the look at it!
Any time! Thank you for checking it out David!
Nice looking knife.
Very cool knife! I like it! I don’t have many Kershaw knives! Thanks for sharing! Hope you had a great Monday brother!
Thank you Phillip! Its an interesting one for sure!

Federalist is actually a great knife. I got mine when Knife Doctor said it a few weeks ago
Very cool Bladewalker!
Great job with this Andrew! I really think it's a winner!
Very cool David! Thank you!
Thank you Andrew, great looking knife !!! 👍
Thanks for checking it out Steven! Another great deal on a made in USA knife.
I do prefer traditionals but this is very nice for the money. A very good hybrid between traditional and modern

I think i got the cjrb ekko in the same steel for $50ish. I do like this better.
I think I kinda like it. Definitely looks cool. Handles probably feel good. Have a great day.
Thanks, you too Todd!
Sweet piece Andrew 😊I love mine!!!!
Very cool Pete!

Right on. Thanks for checking it out Ryan!
Really cool Kershaw! I'm not sure about the double detent either. Great video brother!!
Thank you Randy!
1:46 You sound like Jersey Knife Guy 🤔
I have always liked the look of the Federalist, I agree it should’ve been made with a liner lock.
Thanks, 💤🐅.

That’s definitely different, but it looks nice…love the Micarta and lanyard hole. USA made is a plus, but I would like the blade to lock
I like the pivot collar and the micarta. $50 is a good price, IMO
I'd prefer if it was a true slip joint
Yeah I hear you Randy. A locking blade would have been great.
@@rustyminer for sure Rusty! I guess ive gotta just try something different everyonce and a while.

Very cool Richard. Thank you for checking it out. You got to watch that knife budget. It can dry up fast.
When I saw this one for $49 I jumped on it. Closely resembles my Buck Saunter.

Well that stinks. They should send you another and file an insurance claim with usps. It will probably turn up in 2 months. Sorry my friend.
Neat looking knife
Thank you so much Jeff
@@BaxtersBlades you are very welcome Andrew
How nice would it have been with a back spring?

Nice looking knife, the double detent makes me leery.
Yeah I hear you Radar. Had to try 1. 😁 and of all I have see, this is my favorite.

I don't like a double Detent that's the only thing I hate
Yah I hear you BladeWalker!
