One thing that stood out to me is that your horse was not physically perfect, but you took the attitude of, "is this something that I can work with"? Also, depending on the discipline, what makes a horse a good trail horse is not necessarily going to make a good jumper, etc., so people need to know ahead of time what they actually need the horse to be capable of.
