Quick question - while pouring the water into a full glass, does the green light flicker on/off and completely turn off while the pour continues? Can you show a full glass pour? That would help me understand if my Brita is defective or not. Thank you
@@scotthylton4702 Hi thanks for checking/responding - does the light turn completely off as well? My green light blinks then turns completely off during the pour....
We’ve bought and changed 2 new filters, yet the red comes back after a few days. We have 2 pitchers, we know how to change them (we have blue filters). Is the pitcher or battery mechanism bad? We know filter is brand new. We reset to 3 green blinking lights each time. We only bought these pitchers a couple years ago. Have you heard of this being an issue?
May be time for a new one. Not made to change batteries. Plastic do get old. You could try cracking it open and super glue it closed but best to pick a new one out on the next trip to Target or Walmart.
Try resetting for 30 seconds on both buttons. Try setting top control in sun on inside dash of your vehicle for day maybe it got a leak. Make sure it’s dry inside. Look close for moisture inside. Sorry it’s only been a year perhaps contact manufacturer. Can’t hurt.
I was wondering same thing with 10 cup Whit Tahoe model. You'll notice it has a gasket around the gray light device where it is attached to lid. I'm with Scott -- I think you just have to buy another whole system (or call manufacturer and complain!) I tried holding down both buttons for over 10 seconds - didn't work. Scott: thank for tip on longer-lasting blue filters!
Did you wash the pitcher out? If you don’t, and you didn’t rinse the filter and pour 3 full pitchers out, it will have a charcoal taste. But you have to wash it thoroughly or you’ll taste minerals and lead and any other bacteria on it. Just because it’s just water doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be washed frequently.
Thank you! I wasn't waiting till it flashed! I use the water for plants instead of dumping in the beginning. 😊
Thank you so much 😊
Didn’t know it had to be reset🥳Gods Blessings, now and Always 🔥
Thank you so much for this, I had no idea how to reset it 😂

Not heard of this maybe old worn out timer. You can always keep track of recommended time and right on tape on top of pitcher.
Thx. What if the filter is new but the sensor is still red?
Push and hold reset button that has same color as your filter. Hold let flash 3-4 times then test again with water.
How to replace the battery for this version
Not made to replace. Crack it open and glue it back or buy another. You could always just note on your calendar when to change filter.
hello , how can i change the batteries cause the reset buton doesn't work anymore ? thank you

I fought it not without possibility of damaging it. If it bothers you I would just put some tape over it.
How to change the battery 🔋???
Not made to change. They want you to buy another or just tae the date it needs changed to pitcher.
I changed mine but my water still taste nasty
