I can still recall the day, being in chat with my UKGPL mates, when the news arrived that the 65 mod was completed and had been released, beginning the stampede...the first of many since. Great work by the modding community in GPL, true enthusiasts!!
Very entertaining "compilation" video there, Erik. As a creator, I know how difficult & time-consuming these things can be to put together properly, but you clearly have done a great job with this one. Hope to possibly see more of them? in the future at some stage Erik.................very well done!!!

An awesome video! Personally, I enyoy the '65 F1 mod for their sheer driveability ... you can really throttle those puppies and still be smooooth as buttah!
Thanks for the video. I bought GPL on the day it was released but pulling it back out now after a long time on the shelf. The mods are a bit intimidating to figure all out.
The Thundercars are basically F5000s. And actually, there was a British series by that name, which was basically their equivalent to Can-Am II. That is, it was F5000s with fenders.

I always felt the Thundercars were the proof of concept for the 69 Mod.
But the 65s are the most fun. Close racing. Momentum. Glorious.
