Great reaction man, this is my favorite movie made in the last 10 years and honestly this is probably the most honest view of the west. It was a very hard time and I think overall it just showed things had gone so far both sides had done terrible things.
Love this movie. Very underrated. Christian Bale might be a top 5 actor all time.

What we *white european-americans* did to Native Americans, and Mexicans and Africans we enslaved on this land is unforgivable. Native Americans endured horrific things not seen on such a scale since Rome, and over generations. Taking children, erasing the culture. This, on top of everything since, has left our fracturing nation with a long list of enemies. And all I can do is sit here and say we are reaping what my ancestors sowed. But we have a chance to redirect history. Hostile portrays not just Bale's character arc as a single entity. But as a generational one. He wakes up to realities at the end.
Ummm White Europeans were enslaved even more by they're own ppl more than anyone else was just like more Africans were enslaved by their own more than anyone else did to them!!!! If u know world history , then u know!!!! American history is always just based on just what it sounds like : American history!!!! & That's literally it so unless u study world history especially before America existed , u would see that every culture on earth was actually enslaving they own ppl way longer than going to other places to find newer races & civilizations to enslave!!!!
Get over your white blame and learn history. EVERY culture and EVERY race in the history of the world has killed, subjugated and enslaved those they have conquered. White European-Americans have done no less than Blacks, Asians, Hispanics, Christian, Muslim, etc. The one thing they DID do was fight a horrific war to try to reconcile those errors.
