God Gave Rock And Roll - First intro solo guitar tutorial

Hey everyone,
Here is the first solo from the classic God Gave Rock And Roll To You by Kiss. Paul Stanley has some great guitar chops.
Anyone who loves a good lead part will really enjoy tucking into this.
Firstly, the original track is in E flat, for the purpose of this video and practice I’m in standard tuning. When jamming along, you can tune down.
Technique wise there is nothing to crazy just a few whole tone bends to dig into.
If you have been playing guitar for a few months and you have a good understanding of the fretboard, your pentatonic and your major scale, this is going to be right up your street.

i should practice to bend upwards, bending string downwards makes that 8th fret hard to hit

You’re not wrong there. For the purpose of ease I tend to teach in E standard then if my pupils like to jam to the track they can always tune a semi tone down. I will however put that in the description 🤘🏻
