Looks like a good time can’t wait to try it out later!

Very cool game thank you. At first I played it wrong and forgot that the suit of one of the two played cards has to match with the attacked card. So it was very easy. With the correct rules I won at my second try. Maybe you could increase the difficulty by adding: it has to be the suit of the following card that has to match with the attacked card. I think I will try it and share my experience.

The original rules worked like that. I was waffling on the idea and leaned to the "easier" side. You can certainly play it that way. The win rate should be 60% and above which was my hope.

Generally spades represent swords and clubs represent the clubs/sticks

Pretty fun! One my second game. Had to keep reminding myself that 7 is highest and that face cards are 8-10.

Awesome, great job. Yea it's nice having an Italian 40 card deck, but when I don't have it available, I'll use the standard poker deck.

@@scottronics8469 Agreed, I actually got a set of "Scopa" mostly to play Diavolo.

Other games I enjoy with an Italian deck: Scopa, Tressette, and Briscola. These can all be played with an Italian deck are more "traditional" Italian games. :) @@Cranilla13

@@scottronics8469 I'll have to look into those. Still want to try Scoundrel using a 52 card deck.

Cool game and mechanics. But my OCD couldn't get over the fact that you matched "poker clubs" to "italian swords" and "italian clubs" to "poker spades" (which come from a word meaning "sword"). So, with your permission, I'm going to flip those when I try the game. Cheers!

I'm actually aware of the translations. There is no reason you can't change the suits. I opted for those suits because of the game Regicide. Most people familiar with it, think the club looks like a sword and is for damage, which is the reason i went with clubs = swords. :)

Yeah, precisely! That is one thing which always annoyed me about 'Regicide' as well, hahaha@@scottronics8469

Hey! I finally got around to trying it and I was either incredibly lucky or I found a bit of a loophole strategy. I believe I followed all the rules correctly. What I did was focus on buying all the 7's as well as banish everything else whenever I had the chance. So, by the end, I was left with a "permanent" hand of all 7's. Then, it was just a matter of alternating attack turns and rest turns until the end. What do you think? Did I miss something? @@scottronics8469

Interesting deckbuilser, do you think there is a way to play this with 2 player?
