Bille tends to put a bit more ‘sad’ vibe in her voice, it has more emotion. Kelly Clarkson here has a stage voice on, more to show her voices abilities. Now I know these aren’t like musical terms but that’s how I feel it is personally.

Artists like Taylor swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina carpenter, Anne Marie also adopt this kind of style. If anything, Kelly had a more unique style, even for the 2000’s where she peaked. I think a lot of people favor Billie for the sole reason of age and relatability. Both stood for similar things, and both got famous young. However, many girls can relate better to an 18yr old (not sure on age) than someone who’s been in the industry for decades now.

I love both. Their delivery matches themselves. Billie's like a teenager/young woman and Kelly's a grown woman so I can imagine different scenarios to go with their singing despite them singing the same song. Billie gives off "Leave me a lone, I just want to have fun" and Kelly gives off "Leave me alone, I just want to move on" If that makes sense.

They're too different to compare. They are two different types of artists so the sound will be extremely different. In turns of teqnique Kelly's was better but on terns of MY preference I prefer Billie's version. But Kelly's music is usually contained because that suits her voice.

Kelly just has a very solid mature voice that you can tell is very trained and practiced. Billie has a great young beautiful voice that I think will deepen slightly over time and she will fill out her voice a lot more with time

Kelly has a greater range than Billie and that souring vocal gave me goosebumps but I still prefer the original. Billie’s emotional delivery and chest voice bring out the true power and message of the song.

Vocals alone, Billie isn’t even a fraction of Kelly’s talent. But the overall production of Kelly’s is only meh.
I love both. Their delivery matches themselves. Billie's like a teenager/young woman and Kelly's a grown woman so I can imagine different scenarios to go with their singing despite them singing the same song. Billie gives off "Leave me a lone, I just want to have fun" and Kelly gives off "Leave me alone, I just want to move on" If that makes sense.
I said Billie Eilish because you can never go wrong with the original and it’s just the way she sings it. It’s a masterpiece.

They're too different to compare. They are two different types of artists so the sound will be extremely different. In turns of teqnique Kelly's was better but on terns of MY preference I prefer Billie's version. But Kelly's music is usually contained because that suits her voice.

Whatever Kelly Clarkson sings/covers I genuinely think is better than the original. This is in my top 3 along with seven nation army and falling.
Kelly has better vocals but I feel like Billie’s fits better with the vibes of the song. While Kelly sounded like a precessional singer hitting a note, Billie sounded angry and upset, almost as if she’s yelling.
