lottie standing up for shauna in e2 is so sweet, she clearly feels a connection with shauna because they both lost their blonde girlfriend... i can ship this
without giving anything away the lottie/nat/travis "triangle" is my favorite relationship dynamic this season. it's so intriguing because it's not *really* a love triangle. one of the showrunners said that the sex scene symbolizes travis' internal conflict between faith and pragmatism. and i love that you can never tell who's in the middle of the triangle lol. this dynamic it gets even crazier as the season goes on, especially knowing what happened in the present day with travis dying and that being the catalyst that brought lottie and nat together again
I can see that. I also don't think there were any romantic implications with the scene that was the three of them (I was just stressed he was going to name drop lottie and cause some massive conflict with nat lol).
The snow dropping on the fire turned the whole thing into a giant smoker, effectively cooking Jackie to perfection. The Bacchanalian feast was gorgeous. That must have been what it felt like to people on the brink of starving to death. This season is wild, so buckle up!
I never got the impression that the Travis and Lottie dynamic was romantic or sexual. His heart is clearly with Nat but there’s a part of Travis that was deeply effected by Lottie’s spirituality. That scene was just representing him being torn between two sets of beliefs.

I was just very stressed while watching for the first time and thinking how it might look that way from nat's perspective, if he accidentally name drops lottie. he is, just like some of the other characters, in that spot where he's slowly leaning into lottie's practices or rituals more, because they ground them/give them something to believe in/hold on to. it's quite intriguing.

lottie can do no wrong in my eyes, I really love how caring and compassionate she is, also, the lottienat is superior in s2, they have so much chemistry together, it's crazy side note:spoilers coming through, so warning you first . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the whole crew later in the season will reconnect (this is honestly the most amazing thing I've ever seen) and the bloody frame that lottie sees, when the ghost of laura lee approaches her is actually herself (it's her face, when shauna beat the shit out of her, crazy to think, honestly, but also I think it's her head playing tricks and her not being on right medication (she needed to up her dosage, but never came to the therapist, so, that's that)
