Hi, I'm Dan from Holiday Extras and I'll be telling you the seven things you need to know about the Holiday Inn Express.
This hotel is around ten minutes drive away from all terminals. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the airport for £3 per person or you can take a taxi for around £7. For more information, check the
transfers tab.
Rooms are spacious and clean. Guests say that it's also fairly quiet despite being so close to the airport. Wi-Fi is free and guests also tell us it's fast enough for downloading films ahead of your flight.
The Great Room restaurant serves fish and chips, burgers and pasta costing around £12 per person on average. The bar lounge serves beers, wines and snacks
until 1:00 a.m. A pint cost around £2.90 and a glass of wine cost around £3.50
Breakfast is included with this package. There are a
range of hot and cold options including sausages, eggs, beans, toast, cereal and pastries. Breakfast is served between 6:30a.m. and 10:00a.m. daily.
Here are some tips to make the most of your stay.
There aren't any on-site leisure facilities at the hotel, but the airport is close by if you need to visit some
shops before your trip. Guests consider the hotel to be fairly quiet, but we reckon the best rooms to get a good night's sleep are on the top floor away from reception.
