    How to reset Tire Pressure Light on VW Golf.
    VW Golf TPMS System reset.
    VW Golf TPMS Warning light reset.
    Had this come up on the VW Golf. A simple task to sort out & fix.
    It is very important to have your VW Golf Tires inflated to the correct pressure for safety reasons and also you will get better MPG. Make sure your tires have good tread on them, if not then get them replaced, ideally in pairs.
    If you haven't got the button as in this video then the button may be right beside the EPS button.

    If you reset and the tire pressure is NOT correct…. would the system recognise that and repeat the message of low tire pressure ?
    Basically tell u that it’s low pressure again ?
    Thanks

    • @LurgsHowToGuides
      @LurgsHowToGuides  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't think it will, when you reset the system it sets the pressures at that point. If it's wrong then pump up the tyres again to the correct pressure and reset the Tyre Pressure system again, should all be ok then. Have a happy New Year.😎.

    • @LurgsHowToGuides

      Aftermarket wheels can affect the TPMS. You do have the TPMS still as it's built into the drums on each wheel. You can see the sensor spinning if you remove the ABS wheel speed sensor bolt and turn the wheel.

    Thank you captain!!! How to do the same for the seatbelt light?

    • @LurgsHowToGuides
      @LurgsHowToGuides  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@LurgsHowToGuides I've changed both front seatbelts due to a little accident i had 2 weeks ago and the mechanic didn't turn the light of airbag off. • @LurgsHowToGuides
      @LurgsHowToGuides  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be clear, on your Dashboard do you have a Seatbelt Warning Light or an Airbag Warning light and what colour is it?

    • @LS-fl1oj
      @LS-fl1oj 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LurgsHowToGuides it's the yellow one captain. You know, the one where both are visible, the seatbelt and the airbag. It even pulses sometimes but rare. And I've got vw golf 6 tsi 2.5 2011 captain

    • @LurgsHowToGuides
      @LurgsHowToGuides  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That doesn't sound good. If the mechanic has replaced the seatbelt clips it's probably interfered with the computer or sensors. You might get lucky with a decent OBD2 Handheld computer and see the Error Codes for those lights and might be able to reset them. But you have to be careful with Airbags, you don't want to fire it off ! Really the garage should have reset it after the work.
