Hi and thanks for the video! On Aliexpress there are two types of replacement LCDs : Original, similar to yours and with a big termal pad under the bridge/flex cable, and a version without the Original writing and without the termal pad that costs a bit less.
Can you recommend which one to take and if the Original version is actually better than the NON original version ?

regarding your question: both last the same and the same quality, truly go with none original.

Very instructive video! On Aliexpress, you can buy a replacement screen with and without a frame. Do you know if both are compatible and which one to choose? And is it possible to do the procedure without heating the screen or if there are alternatives?

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P
regarding your question: both are compatible, and about the heating don't need a heat gun, use a hair dryer at max heat and keep the heat on it for few min.
if you have any question or request in the future feel free to ask me.

Thanks to the video I replaced my screen !
After gluing the screen with T-7000 glue, a minimum of the glue has come out and can be felt at the edges. How to remove it ?

Regarding your question, having excess glue is quite common. It's best to leave it alone for a few days as it will eventually fall off when you rub it. However, it's important not to try removing the excess glue immediately after applying it. Doing so may cause the glue underneath the screen to come off. The glue has an elastic-like consistency, so it's advisable to wait for it to dry for a day or two. Afterward, you can clean it by rubbing it with alcohol.

By heating the screen to 89 degrees, isn't there a risk of damaging the battery or the ear speacker that sits alongside the front camera hole ?

regarding your question: you are not concentrating steady 89c directly over were the speakers are, you are moving the nozzle around in a circular motion (slowly) and the speaker and the camera and battery will be just fine i been doing this for over 18years and never had a issue. just don't keep the heat at one place without moving out, it should take you 3-4sec to travel 1" distance. with a distance of 1" away from screen

:( you need to take your time and not push hard on opening tools and increase the heat if it's hard
