Installing Packages in R Studio

Thanks; this is useful. I feel like a dill, but I followed these instructions and for some strange reason the package does not appear in the list after I have loaded it. The console tells me that the package has been loaded successfully, but it simply doesn't appear in the list, even after I have refreshed the list. Any thoughts? Cheers, Andrew

Don't feel like a dill! R can be weird, so don't worry to much about it.
Just out of curiosity, even if the package doesn't show up in the "packages" tab, does it still work? In other words, are you still able to make the program run? If so, it might not matter too much if it doesn't appear. If that still doesn't work, I'd consider writing to the R message boards; unfortunately I won't be able to debug it from here.
