These bike checks are the best thing on Pinkbike, especially with Tom hosting. And I like when they review ordinary riders, not just pros (which I don't care about cause it's all sponsored and they're never gonna give an honest opinion).
$1100 for that 2nd bike was a great deal.

I love these. It's nice to see what others are running. Most of the time I see dudes out with like the newest bikes. It's good to see people shredding on bikes that aren't the newest

I have a 2013 demo 8 s-works as well. I sent it into a tree at probably 25mph a couple weeks ago at it was totally fine. I was pretty banged up tho.
I cut my Rockshox Yari from 160 to 100mm for dirtjumping, just like that guy from the Bamshee did, and its honestly great, no diffrence in feeling and looks to a pike dj :)

LOL age is just a number as I was born in 1991 which make me 30 I still think I am 13 as I ride Street Doing double stair gaps is a bit scary when you are 30 knowing when you crash it’s going to hurt a lot As you’re not made of rubber like a 13-year-old kid LOL

That is so true for example where I go street riding there is a 30ft stair gap I only do that with my friends as it is much safer I’ve only done it once on my own and it scared The shit out of me as as I knew the consequences if I got it wrong You can’t take no chances when you’re hitting stuff that big
