I played a little bit with this circuit and I optimized it to be a level sensor for a 5V ATTINY85 without the buzzer to replace quite an expensive sensor made with copper which corroded like hell by using a long and a short lead in the water at 2 different levels: one at the bottom and the other a little higher, then I connected the data cable from ATTINY85 to the emitter. When the water level changes, the values returned to the ATTINY85 changes. Now I have a super cheap $ humidity/water level sensor out of a NPN transistor and 2 wires!! Great!! Thanks for the idea ABTabi.

3.7v is ok or not ok
With 3.7 volt battery you must use 3.7 volt buzzer ,,,,,,,, 12 volt or 9 volt buzzer not working ,,,,,,,
