An amazing human being. Back in '68 or so, I was shooting hoops in Alumni Hall (cutting class?) when Louie stopped me (all 5'11" and 115 pounds of me) and spent 10 minutes helping me with my jump shot. No bigger waste of time in his 97 years. Johnny Warren kept his point guard job. But that's the kind of guy he was...and apparently still is.
Gentlemen, you outdid yourself on this one. This might have been the most pressure you guys faced since you were Big East players. Interviewing a living legend must be the highlight of your broadcast career. Thanks for all you do but especially thanks for this great memory. LOOUIE!!
