    If you’re going to prove it overnight and then knock it back but not prove it again the next day it will be very dense, and such a lot of sweetener will cause it to burn easily BUT I think this is a great starting point and I’m looking forward to trying it Thankyou. • @motherhood_delights

      To speed up the proofing there should be more moisture. So place a bowl of steaming water inside your oven along side your bowl of dough or at the bottom rack. See to that they don’t touch each other. You can see the dough rising in 30 minutes. For dense breads like this change the water in an hour. So it will get proofed in 2 hours max. Leave the oven light on during the process. Hope it helps… thank you

    A few questions if you don’t mind. Can I use baking powder instead of instant yeast, can I use avocado oil instead of olive oil, and can I soak and ground the millets myself instead of using millet flower? If so, would the proportions of any ingredients change? Lastly, how long would it likely last on the counter if I covered it?

    • @motherhood_delights
      @motherhood_delights  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi… yes you can alternate the mentioned ingredients, but baking soda I am not sure. Baking soda is often used to make cakes for that fluffy texture. Bread is completed different and this is kind of a dense bread. So using yeast will be the best option. This bread will stay good for 3 to 4 days when left in counter. Thanks for commenting 👍

    In your recipe you say, "one glass water".. it would be better to specify how many ml of water should be used. Mine turned out v sticky using one normal sized glass of water. Next time i will try with less water

      Hi, I had used 250 ml cup for flour and water. But the flour you are using might not be the same. So please add the 250 ml water slowly and stop once you achieve dough consistency. Don’t make it a very loose dough.

    Sorry It didn’t turn out good. Falling apart as there is no binder. Not sure role of yeast if it’s not going to rise or if it’s meant to be dense.

      Hi just a little amount should be since it is store bought flour. You can skip it and just add millets.
