Hey Mark Great job 👌 Love hoemwyou took your time, those big Dead standing ones are real dangerous. No hinge wood at all, real brittle. Superb burning tho👌
Man what a stubborn tree! It wasn’t going without a lot of persuasion 😂 beautiful notch you cut by the way. I’ve seen many professional arborists make the angled cut second. Well done sir! You have a new subscriber!
I have started borecutting ash as a rule of thumb now, lean or no lean as with ash dieback its changing the timber so much and makes it even more unpredictable. Good fell done nicely mate, nice to see someone not rushing around and going smooth!
@@marklichtenberg Make the angled undercut before the horizontal cut. If the tree was bigger you would have pinched the bar and it is also way easier to ruin your hinge... Undercut first, then the horizontal cut and then the final felling-cut

A bore cut through the center makes cutting ash much safer.

Saw sounds better now , tidy job .
Thank you, I actually had to rebuild the carb.
You are supposed to make undercut first.
What do you mean?

@@lassila3 If that’s how you want to do it then that’s your choice.
That’s not how I do things however.
@@marklichtenberg Jesus, typical reply, it´s very hard to accept you are wrong LMAO
