I think that for me, 4Minute, Kara, Rainbown, Sistar, Wonder girls and 2ne1 are the most shocking because in my mind they are suppose too last forever, like they are the first girls band that I listen, but I really Miss Kiss&Cry, Evol, Chi Chi, the Ark, Spica and D-Unit
I decided not to include project groups like I.O.I and I.B.I because we knew that they were only temporary groups that would disband within a year. I also didn't include T-ara because I don't know what the future holds for them.
You never know, they got a music show win and I think they really appreciated that. They could pull a Highlight and start their own company with Soyeon and Boram, you never know.
Kind of surprised you didn't include S.E.S or Fin.K.L. Some of these are such BS. DSP screwed over both KARA and RAINBOW. If YG had made an effort to promote Minzy and let her do her stuff - even with Bom's mess, 2ne1 would still be around. Minzy's recent stuff is pretty good - she deserved the chance. I don't know why Hyolyn decided she wanted out of SISTAR - but that was on her. SPICA was a crime of lousy promotion by a label that just didn't do their girls right - they were Mamamoo before Mamamoo. Best we don't discuss the firing of 4minute ... I like this monitor and if I start to talk about 4minute .... stuff gets thrown and broken. At least Jiyoon is still working on her stuff . Alex, did you hear her latest OST - Taken? Its really good. She's releasing a single in August, too.
+MrBabylonandon S.E.S. is still alive. They came out with Paradise and Remember at the beginning of the year. Finkl is just way before my time, I didn't expect them to last forever. Yeah, I'm mad about 2NE1 the most. It was such a tragic downfall from a group that was literally at the top. Sistar disbanding was weird, especially since Hyolyn, Soyou, and Dasom stayed with the label. Spica was mismanaged for sure and so was 4minute. Rainbow could have been huge, but never really took off. At leas the members seemed pretty close. KARA was sad, I really miss them. I can't wait for Jiyoon's comeback, I'm so excited because her debut was really strong. I looked up the OST, pretty cool!
i think Wonder Girls must be the top 1. reasons: - they were the best Rookie in year 2007, then SNSD - they are the first girl group or the first kpop group who introduce kpop in the whole world by getting at the Billboard top or Hot 100 by Nobody song. - they are one of the best kpop group - they're Gorgeous - they have good or Amazing English songs that was Lit like Dj is mine, love me like money, and ect. - and actually they are one of the most humble kpop girl group that I've ever seen - they do different kind of genre and theme including cute, sexy, feminine E.T., retro style and they are the only girl group who can play instruments in their live performance. - they established their comeback by their own - and ten years at kpop world - and the worst thing they decided to disband by miss handling by their company but still still i'am hoping they will reunite as Wonder Girls again like what the SES did I think.
i'm so glad that Kazoo of Ye A (Kwon Eunbi) finally got an another chance to debut. we all know how hard being a trainee.. imagined how risky it is competing to a 100 artist/group just to become an idol.

That was a big controversy and one of the big reasons they disbanded. It is not a Nazi band, it has an X shape, but they shouldn't have worn them in my opinion.
I'm so upset about MIXX's disbandment they could have been so great if their company promoted them better and the company drama didn't happen with the Chinese members... rip
Rainbow had everything to be DSP's biggest group alongside KARA. They had everything that was needed. Jisook, Hyunyoung and Jaekyung had the voice, Woori, Noeul e Jaekyung also had the dancing, Seunga had the body, Yoonhye had the looks and visual to be the face of the group. Honestly, they could be AWESOME, but we know how bas DSP Media is. Miss my girls...
Ah, this really hurt my heart to watch!! Skarf is my all time favorite female group that disbanded. They were really special, especially when Sol was still in the group. My other faves include 2NE1, Pritz(really I love them too), Sistar, i13, YE-A, I.B.I, Vividiva, As One, Bob Girls, etc
It seems like the top 7 on your list would probably be just about everyone's (objective) top 7, in some order or another. Oddly, the one that makes me saddest is Spica -- their final comeback was so low-budget but fun -- in a better world those ladies would be pumping out 5 or 6 more awesome singles over the next few years...
It's so sad to see so many great groups with so much talent gone. Out of all of them I miss 2ne1, Evol, GLAM ,4minute ,and G.I (mainly because they switched the original line up for G.I on their last song)

Sunny Days switched companies and that kinda screwed them over. Awesome Baby went their separate ways and the main vocalist is now on Idol School Delight just hasn't given the fans any updates since 2014 and I don't think they'll ever make a comeback. YeonDu is an AMAZING vocalist, I hope she goes solo too.

Also they deleted their Facebook, so I don't think we'll hear from them. Delight just hasn't given fans an update in over 3 years, and they were a shaky with tons of lineup changes to begin with. It is really sad, they had so much potential and the legendary groups could have been even more successful. Its really disappointing that these companies: big and small can't get their act together.

I’ve been on so many videos of disbanded groups trying to find a girl group w a pink party video clip and it was people in costumes like a robot and other stuff and I’m sure it has the word ‘hello’ in it I think but I can’t seem to find the song even though I’ve found it before but I remembered it was hard to find. How are M.O.A even #50... They were actually tragic. But aside from that, this makes me so sad. I stanned so many of these groups including some groups that only had one song, and now they're all gone. We really need to hold on to the groups that we still have.

They were managed by two companies, a Korean and Chinese company. Because of THAAD, the Chinese company decided to stop investing and took the 3 Chinese members back. I've heard they might continue as a trio, but only in China, not Korea.

4 years. I became a fan in 2013 because of SNSD, Crayon Pop, and Wa$$up.
I’ve been on so many videos of disbanded groups trying to find a girl group w a pink party video clip and it was people in costumes like a robot and other stuff and I’m sure it has the word ‘hello’ in it I think but I can’t seem to find the song even though I’ve found it before but I remembered it was hard to find. But I think the group has the only one song and there are 4 of them for sure if not then 5
