What are your thoughts on only putting lower trim kit on if it’s being installed on a existing set of cabinets with a 72 inche opening ? I’m assuming then bottom side is the only part that would look weird without the grill ?

excuse my lack of knowledge but if you tilt the fridge for the install do you have to wait a certain amount of time before turning it back on because of the freons or will it be okay?
I need to service my drain hose on this, I can just pull them (the units) out to access the back right, without removing the trim kit? I assume I have to tighten back up the leveling feet in the front in order to have the wheels engage the floor?
Nice fridge but be prepared to replace in 4-8 years when it rusts out and fails. Also if they do what they did in the past you will not be able to just replace the fridge but rather you will have to replace both as they think it’s fun to change the size on you so you can’t just replace one unit.

@@joaquinzannchez3184I bought the fridge and freezer with trim kit in 2015. It lasted about 8 years then we notice the fridge started to freeze everything and then just stopped working. We had a repair shop come take a look and they said they would need to take the fridge to replace a bunch of the internals and recharge the coolant. Upon further inspection the bottom of the fridge they noticed was completely rusted out and all the insolation was wet. You can notice this if you have the older model and remove the bottom drawer there is an access panel you can unscrew and remove. Anyway as it was rusted out to the extent you could put your finger through the inside to the bottom of the wet insolation I decided not to fix the fridge but rather replace it.
@@joaquinzannchez3184the new model is different then the old and requires a new trim kit and matching freezer so both the fridge and freezer got replaced. Luckily the hole the set went into just barely fit. I still have the old freezer in the basement now and it is still going strong with no issues.
@@joaquinzannchez3184also the new ones look to be all plastic for the inner shell and not metal so I hope it lasts longer. Just something to be aware of because they are a nice fridge.
I just got this and on instruction sheet there is a step that says to put the heater on the inner side of the freezer and fridge, it didn't come with my purchase? I didn't see you install it, is that really needed?

After tilting it is allowed to plug in right away.
Only when an appliance was laid down on the back or side need to wait 10-12 hours.

Hi Adrian, Correct, you don't need to remove the trim kit to service the fridge's drainage.

Yes it is needed, called a pairing kit. It will void your warranty if you don’t.
