I have watched a lot of these MLB highlight videos but I think this video shows more pure skill than any of them. These were all unexpected hops which require creativity and pure athleticism to deal with them. Some of these plays were art.

His numbers are not impressive but he seems to rise to the occasion when needed. He had a single that lead up to the bautista bat flip home run. Then he made numerous defensive plays to keep the jays ahead
Yeah in a spot like that your never really going to beat the throw in the pros so they just jog cause the only way they are safe is if there is a wild throw
