Thank you for this! I have to go to a party tomorrow where I know everyone will be dressed very casually, but I really want to wear my silver long skirt with a shirt that has sequins on it! This winter I lost 20 lbs, I donated all the clothes I had in my closet, I went from a XL to a medium, I have bought all my now clothes thrifting, I have also decided to buy no fast fashion… your right about the accessories I seem to be the only one in the thrift stores even looking at belts, and scarves.
I have purchased such beauties..
I am thrilled with my new wardrobe… it’s a bit addicting, I find I want to look through the racks a few times a week, it doesn’t help there are two great thrift stores 5 min from my home

Dang, love the outfits you put together!! Wouldn't have thought to pair the long olive green skirt with the long sleeve olive shirt and striped turtleneck. So agree with your take on vintage luxury goods vs. new.

As a size 22 it is SO hard to find decent second hand fashion. It's doable, but difficult. And finding statement belts never happens- which makes me sad, because I love belts as a fashion statement. 😢
I mean this sincerely, any time we find a hole in the market (where people are wising they had an option thats not there) we should see if we can fill it if at all possible. Maybe it could be your next business! Wishing you well.😊
Yes, as my weight's gone up it gets harder. I've decided to go with what I can for now, rather than waiting for perfection
The town I'm from was a bit of f a struggle, but when I moved to the city and state I'm in now, I have options on options on options!!!
It's based the kinds of people that live in your town.
Road trip to towns where folks are all sizes. 👍🏽
For example you will for sure struggle more in Miami Beach Fl vs maybe Pensacola FL.

Thank you for these tips. Ever since I found your channel I have gotten more into thrifting and finding my perfect vintage Levi's. I would love to see a video of your whole collection of vintage Levi's and other vintage jeans. I totally agree with you that denim is a foundation piece in our wardrobes. I have a lot in my closet too and love them!!!!
Your vintage denim video is one of my favorites. I recently thrifted some Levi's for $8 after watching it. I'm a child of the 60's and 70's and wish I'd kept some of those cool items since they're so coveted now.

All of my best handbags are second hand. I have a Cole Hahn bag that cost me $9 at a thrift store; it's Kelly green and so unique. I also have a small Gucci purse I thrifted 20 years ago for $20. You're right about the quality!

Body's changing and style changed alittle especially with makeup lol less is best I found lol... 🎉was stuck in the 80s and updating my style but trying not to lose me.. I'm wearing things I feel comfortable and in that I like regardless of what people think
But sometimes it's challenging...
.i don't want to look like an old lady lol😮lol and you don't want to look like you're trying to be 20 either... My words I'm trying to incorporate are classic, casual & edgy mix of feminine and masculine..
