This is me Melanie - actually - from this wedding episode. I’m just letting you know that the wedding then marriage was actually a Titanic disaster. I requested a divorce politely May 5, 2019 and I’m currently facing family court trial on Monday by the man who was the one who had chosen the boat & who’s family [including the mama who tried on my wedding dress] says that I’m an unfit person because I’m autistic and because I did not want to stand anymore for emotional abuse. So kudos to those who called it. Yes you’re right 😅no hard feelings 😊 I just wish I would’ve read the comments earlier.😂 sending much love out there to all that need a smile…. ❤
This couple is a disaster: the monster in law is so tactless she tries on the bride's dress; the bride books a boat for the reception when the groom has a problem with sea sickness, the groom's family including the tacky MIL thinks that a wedding is a great time for the bride's estranged mother to come to the wedding, and the bride is is anxious she can't leave the dressing room. Why didn't these two just go to city hall?
woooow... wait a second... they choose a venue knowing that the husband gets, like, extremely sea sick and is afraid of deep water? So the bride choose a venue knowing that this venue will actually f§$%& HURT her husband? Oh boy, run. Run as fast as you can. This isn't the groom giving the bride what she wants despite not liking it all that much, that's a bride absolutely not caring for her husband's well-being at all. If some of that actually happened, it's not ok.
While I wish the couple the best I really think a lot of problems were caused by picking a boat. Even if the groom is okay what about the guests? And not to be mean but the notion of the mother in law trying on the wedding dress - I can imagine the horrors - because not to be mean the bride has a very matronly look.
You have had years to bond. It's no one's fault except yours. Why you allowed your own narcissist controlling attitude from your own bonding. Why want a fairly big wedding when you know that your fear is yourself
