The grooms mother's dress was WAY ABOVE the brides mother's outfit. I hope at some point in life the bride's mother gets over her snooty control issues!! She could learn A LOT from the groom's mom who is down to Earth, yet elegant!! The groom's mother has TRUE class, not plastic, pretentious like the bride's mother!!!!
I could not cope with a mother in law who thinks she is the boss all the time. I just wouldn’t stand for it at all. There’s a true story of a mother in law who controlled her sons family and ended up breaking up their marriage and murdering the daughter in law. Nobody believed the daughter in law when she went to the police. Such a sad story.
The problem with this show is that there is NO way the couple doesn't know they have to give up control to the mother or mother in law. And they never talk about money but there has to be some befit for the couple to go on this show. WE don't know but surely these couples know the mothers will be listen in. What this so called wedding planner just randomly picks people off the street who are ge tting married and who are willing to give up contorl of their wedding planning with no discussion of reward or benefit ie money or paing for hte wedding. And the public are (we) are idiots- we watch this series over and over and oh my goodness what are the odds each time the couple have no idea about giving up the wedding ot the motehrs, have no idea on the mothers listening and always conflict between the mothers and the so called talented wedding planner has to get in between the mom's taking some power from the "winning" mom and giving it to the losing mom who coincidentally is al ways to the opposite end of the other mom and somehow bo th moms are outgaoing and camera friendly ie vivacious, lively big personlities. Just saying.... lol
THe black shirt and the pickups on the dress really date the wedding and for some reason the wedding comes of as not classy but rather a middle class person trying to find or emulate what supposedly is a high class wedding. It is not just the money. You can take the trailer trash out of the trailer but you can't take the trrash out. NOt bo be mean they looked wonderful but just reall lke people trying to look like s ophisticated elegance. i thought Anne looked wonderful. And the dessert table was nice. I liked the eggplant calla lilies Nice effort. I can see Gina smirking when Lorette talks about or complains about Anne because Gina can see the same with Lorette in respect to Anne. Its a show, it is edited but I wish we saw a stronger attempt of the bride and groom to get the mothers to work together and that they could instruct more power for the loser though I do understand the s o called rules.
