12v Power Station Repair - DO NOT TRY THIS

I have had this car booster pack for many years. Its tough and compact and feels well made. The battery is tired and the inverter is broken. I not telling or teaching how to do this and you shouldn't copy me as it could be dangerous, but for entertainment only. This is how I did it and it worked well.

Thanks for the video! I have a similar product but it is the 6 in 1 version. The analog volt meter is broken, does anyone know where I can get a replacement (volt meter)? Thank you in advance.

Mine works fine but the compressor hose has split I can’t find the tool to open it cheers

Great! Thanks for this. I have the exact same model and will now carefully replace the tired battery in mine. I'm not sure I'm using the correct charger adapter with it though... what is the charger model code on your adapter? Thanks.

You could use a normal lead acid battery charger and connect to the large battery clamps once the unit is tuned on.

Hi, I got mine as gift, but the inverter and the compressor are bad, the fuse keeps burning. would you mind telling me the model of the inverter you used, I would like to replace mine as well. I'm not too bothered about the compressor, I could live with that, thanks a lot

It was just an unbranded 200w inverter from ebay. Any will do so long as it’s the small range for cars.

Need to replace my battery, was looking at replacing it with 12V 20ah LiFePO4 Lithium Iron Phosphate battery which is the same size, then add an SAE connector to recharge the battery with a solar panel, has anyone tried this or any advice?

Brilliant idea. However there most likely wouldn’t be enough power to jumpstart a car. If that’s not important then lithium is the way forward 👍

Hey man! Great video and mods! I have the exact same pack but my charging adapter broke. I need to replace it but I’m not sure what the rating should be - if I’m not mistaken it should be a 12V 500mAh, right?
I would appreciate the help man

You can use any lead acid charger connecting it directly to the cables for jump start. Just don't exceed 4-5Amps🙂

I have one of these old Harbor Freight specials and i must say it’s been a consistent POS since new. HF really came out with some real “winners” about 10 years ago. I HATE lead acid batteries. WHY OH WHY do modern cars still use these heavy, dangerous, shitty things? The whole damn automobile industry should have switched over to lithium Ion cells years ago. Mine is good for the LED LIGHT STRIP and that’s about it kids. I don’t think this HF Special would have ever jumped start a car even in its heyday!
