I can’t express how happy I am to have witnessed KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde perform their famous duet "Palagi" live in Bacolod City! 😍 As a huge fan of both, seeing this power couple in Philippine music perform their heartfelt hit was a dream come true. There’s something magical about "Palagi" when TJ released his solo version, it was already a song you could easily fall in love with. But when he dropped the duet version with KZ, it hit differently. For me, "Palagi" became the ultimate RELAPSE anthem. 🥹 The way they sing it together, with so much emotion and chemistry, makes it unforgettable. I know for many, this song is the soundtrack to their love story, but for me, it takes me back to a time in my past. I wasn’t always the "Palagi" the one who was chosen. But the lyrics, especially "Balikan man ang hirap lahat-lahat, ikaw ang paborito kong desisyon" hit hard every time I hear it. That’s when I realize why I relapse so much into KZ’s version, because it resonates with my love language continuously choosing someone, even when they don’t choose you. Some people move on so easily, right? But for me, Palagi reminds me that I kept choosing them over and over again, even when I wasn’t chosen in return. It might sound desperate to some, but for me, that’s the way I loved. The song echoes that feeling deeply. To hear KZ and TJ perform this live was like reliving all those emotions again. They are not just a couple they’re a duo that can make you feel every word and note in their songs. I’m beyond grateful I got to witness their powerful performance here in Bacolod.
