There is a more fun way to do this mission, no need to kill anyone in the beginning, go towards the north most corner of the map by boat, use sniper on boat to take out strategic soldiers and machine gunners on the west and north side of the island, no problem if alarms are raised, once when you have reached the north east most corner of the map, deploy driver on the north side of the island, capture the panzer tank and use it to annihilate each an every soldier...
you still end up with all 3 stars on mission time at the end...if one could tell me how to record the game so as to upload it on youtube, i would happily do it to show how its done...
Did exactly this recently. Works pretty well. You need a bit of timing to get the boat to the top left corner of the map without being spotted but takes only very few minutes. Once in the tank, you have basically won the mission. :D

Man i used to play this game when i was young...its awesum.. :)
Good use of the explosives to take out patrols, and same for the machineguns. I don't see others doing that.
