He's won. But he was originally a human. It may give him satisfaction now, but what will he do later? Human greed can be satisfied for a while, but not forever. Omnipotent beings are no different, and some even worse; if you had power, wouldn't you do everything to protect yourself, your valuables, and your loved ones?
