    The largest things in the universe are black holes. In contrast to things like planets or stars they have no physical size limit, and can literally grow endlessly. Although in reality specific things need to happen to create different kinds of black holes, from really tiny ones to the largest single things in the universe. So how do black holes grow and how large is the largest of them all?

      profanaram os meus sábados, e os seus olhos iam após os ídolos de seus pais.
      Por isso também lhes dei estatutos que não eram bons, juízos pelos quais não
      haviam de viver;
      E os contaminei em seus próprios dons, nos quais faziam passar pelo fogo tudo o
      que abre a madre; para assolá-los para que soubessem que eu sou o Senhor.
      Portanto fala à casa de Israel, ó filho do homem, e dize-lhe: Assim diz o Senhor
      DEUS: Ainda até nisto me blasfemaram vossos pais, e que procederam
      traiçoeiramente contra mim.
      Porque, havendo-os eu introduzido na terra sobre a qual eu levantara a minha
      mão, para lha dar, então olharam para todo o outeiro alto, e para toda a árvore
      frondosa, e ofereceram ali os seus sacrifícios e apresentaram ali a provocação das
      suas ofertas; puseram ali os seus cheiros suaves, e ali derramaram as suas libações.
      E eu lhes disse: Que alto é este, aonde vós ides? E seu nome tem sido Bamá até o
      dia de hoje.
      Portanto dize à casa de Israel: Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: Contaminai-vos a vós
      mesmos a maneira de vossos pais? E vos prostituístes com as suas abominações?
      E, quando ofereceis os vossos dons, e fazeis passar os vossos filhos pelo fogo, não

      Have yet to see any good evidence to actually support it's size claim after the initial paper on it. Don't know why it suddenly gained popularity and why everyone is claiming ut to be the largest black hole when TON 618 has a lot more evidence to back up it's claim for the throne.

Especially considering that the idea of space has fascinated me since I was a kid. I grew up in a pretty religious house but had all of these questions about the wonders of the universe. How that correlates with religion and our existence and what it means. I’m no longer religious but I’m still in love with idea of what existence is and how that relates to things like this.
