There is Oyster Sauce, but what is the other dark thick sauce called. I don't seem to get it - can anyone spell out the name?? And also, what did he put before the vinegar @ 6:36??
The dark sauce was Hoisin sauce and he put cooking wine before the vinegar im pretty sure
Most important ingredient in Chinese cuisine is corn starch.
Can someone please tell what kind of 2 thick dark sauces is he using at about 7.20-30?
Hi, it is 1 Tablespoon of oyster sauce and 1 tablespoon of hoisin sauce
a super precise recipe.... how about a nuclear bomb next time?
Where's the lamb sauce!

Why to put soy bean oil in shrimp when also putting oil in wok please?
what kind of oil did you use for this recipie, thank you
Hi Maria, you can use soy bean oil, canola, vegetable oil or olive oil
Maria Flores he use soy bean oil in it
I wouldn't use olive oil otherwise it will burn and become bitter.
what does he add before vinegar?
Cooking wine

Hi, it is "1 tablespoon hoisin sauce"
Sue and Gambo you said hoisin sauce at 7:04 but at 7:25 you talk about an other sauce... :)

Hi the written recipe is on our website sueandgambo.com/pages/kung-pao-shrimp
I couldn’t get the name of 1-2 ingredient because of the accent. What was the last dark sauce he used? Not oyster.
hi here's the written recipe: sueandgambo.com/pages/kung-pao-shrimp
The best kungpao shrimp!
I wish you put in some msg, it makes a difference.
Greg Szarama what does it do? Or how different ?
@@tahileebrown5161 brings out the umami flavour more. I definitely recommend it !
No need if you already put sauces like soy sauce and oyster sauce and also sugar. MSG is not needed at all. I don't put msg in my cookings.
Can we replace sherry cooking wine to something else?
hi leaving it out would work fine as well
@@SueandGambo thank you
I dont have soybean oil ugh😯
