Madison is in incredible form from the start of this season. She already won a title in Adelaide and at the AO, she reached the final after eliminating Swiatek, Rybakina, Svitolina and Collins. She surely deserves the final. Congrats Maddie from an Iga fan.
Amazing from Maddy. So well deserved. Those 2 big serves at the end of the TB really made the difference. Hope she can go all the way and win her first slam. She is very capable of matching Sabalenkas power.
It was a beautiful match. Congratulations to both. Madi had the much better mentality, clearly. I believed in her strength. He really deserved to win. Good luck in the final with Sabalenka.
Fantastic results: first Svitolina, Ribakyna, and now Swiatek. Absolutely amazing. But it seemed to me there was a moment in the tie-break - when Iga took 5:2 lead , that Madison kinda gave up, loosing all faith. But she recovered after that fantastic deep shot, hitting the line right under Iga's feet, when she reduced her lead to 7:6 I think. From then on she was in the zone.
I remember when Andy Murray labelled her as Incredible many years ago...well I think it’s taken herself this long to believe it!! Maybe his presence beside Djokovic this tournament reminded her. She has always seems such a kind person; I so hope she wins the final.
That two big serves by Keys was the key for winning. What a match, unbelievable that Keys will pull this off…. She has a chance to beat Sabalenka she has the 😊perfect game to break Aryana’s power. Match of the Year.

Iga hit way too many balls to Keys' forehand. The forehand hit lots of winners. The backhand made some mistakes. Iga also has to improve her serve too. It doesn't flow. It's too mechanical, calculated, and stiff.

That was an incredible TB. I've always liked Maddy. She has such easy power. She'll have to raise her level even more for the Final, but I hope she can pull it off.
Powodzenie Madison, mam nadzieję, że wygrasz z Aryną w Sobotę :) Widać, że Iga ma dalej problemy z emocjami na korcie i gdy z niego schodziła (widać było na kamerach). 4:53 It's not "unbelievable" - Swiatek just gave her an absolute "gimme" there. Her "drop shot" bounced OVER the service line! This hyperbole over low-skill shots is absurd. We all seem be suffering from mass delusion when it comes to women's tennis! And Keys' passing shot then bounced slap bang in the middle of the court - not the "such an angle" that the commentator described....
Madison Keys was a force of nature this day and deserved to win, even if, as a Pole, I'd wish otherwise. She played great though, and tipped the scale just enough. Hope she prevails against the shrieking machine as well;)

And yet I wasn't wrong, watching Swiatek's matches, that the change of coach - so far - doesn't bring any changes in the way the game is played, and thus doesn't translate into sports results. I disagree with McEnroe that Swiatek doesn't need to change anything. She does need to. Necessarily. As soon as possible. If she doesn't, she'll be balancing between No. 3 and No. 5. Several other players have done their homework, worked on their strength, and Swiatek is stagnant (poor play at the net, lack of drop-shots and several other elements). She may win a Slam in Paris, but I don't think she'll be back at No. 1 in the near future.

All sports commentators should call it the way it is, regardless of whether they commentate for a European network. Fact is both players were great, but as Keys was seeded 19th her match was clearly more extraordinary for her…calling it that way isn’t biased
@@ronanrogers4127 I agree with your general premise ("how it should be" part) but I felt the commentary was a bit more biased than how you describe it. But I might be wrong.
Anyway, this is not to take anything away from the fact that Keys had an amazing tournament, and it is lovely to see her win a big one after all those years!
all you need is one chance
I won on that match. Lessgo keys
Iga Swgonetek?
Good game...
Iga is going down
Maddy is cool, Iga is psycho
Well, it‘s clear that Sabalenka is going to win this easily. Keys is not someone who can pull it through in a final. Swiatek would have been the only one to challenge Sabalenka, but she blew it…
I think Coco can also.
Shes better than iga now. Has beaten her already 2 times in a row
@@tourminator1354 We will see about it. If she continues winning, then it will be possible to confirm that.
