I am E5 92Y at a reserve company level but we are HHC. HHC house all the 92Y which means I rarely do my job because we have like 30 92Y. I am a SL and acting platoon sgt. I was thinking about going reserve to guard AGR but the issue is, you'll never know how f*k up a company supply room is until you are there and its too late.
SGT I'm a 92Y TPU (SPC) personel with two soldier and am now in charge until the next NCO comes. How do I fix the company to be more organize? I really want to learn where everything is, but the company is everywhere and I'm only there once a month. I don't want to be charged with from the previous NCO. Any advices??
Currently National Guard getting a conditional release to go active I been a 92Y for 5 years now but barely did my job as it is the NG 😂 can I pick your brain on certain things to refresh my memory or is there somewhere I can go to kinda relearn things
If you get a chance definitely attend the GCSS-Army course in person. Also there’s a 92Y Facebook group that’s helpful. And you more than welcome to ask me question here.
looking at inter-service transfer from Marines, honestly, this is the only available mos for an E-5 that actually sounds appealing. thank you for the info
I’m a female 63 b, light wheel vehicle mechanic. We looked out for everybody. Those men not only trained the two females but they thought is how to survive, especially if a POW. Don’t want to be in war with those who not trained
My husband is considering reclassing from 31B to 92Y. Do they treat you different if your a reclass? Also will he be able to visit with me and kids on weekends?
We can never work in the same office. But it’s a bit easier because that mos can get station anywhere so there’s always a spot for both of us in the same installation.
Thanks for the info. I’ve been working on trying to get reclass to 92Y since my window is open. Can you shed light on how 92Y is from a male soldier perspective? It’s a stigma that “most female soldiers get desk jobs” to do clerical work and most guys like myself don’t mind clerical work, supply or filing etc. type work. A video/short clip on that would be dope or If Im able to email you personally regarding that? Thanks again for the info tip, it’s very informative.
I’ve seen some males who doesn’t like being a 92Y but I also know a lot of them that love it so it’s a 50/50 chance. Depends if you like working in a office with paperwork or prefer being outside and hands on with things.
Or your husband as well since. Does he have a TH-cam Channel or can you drop the IG since you said he’s a 92Y as well. Hope you and you’re family are having a great day! Stay blessed! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Could you help me choose between 92Y and 36B? Could you compare them for me? There doesn’t seem to be much information on 36B and it seems similar to 92Y only it’s about money. Also does a 92Y have to do heavy lifting much? Or is it more office job?
You don’t get treated like the trainees. And I think you get to stay in the hotel instead of the barracks (don’t fully quote me on this one) it could have change. But Good luck 👍🏽
does this mos need alot of intelligence and mathematics? i am incredibly stupid and a drunk but i want to try this mos since it can work well in the civilian world
I’m going to the army soon and my recruiter recommended this job to me. Do you think it’s a good job as a start because honestly I’m interested in forensics and I plan on switching whenever I can.

the job is very versatile you can go from the unit level to s4 and to pbo office !
That’s why I wouldn’t change my MOS. I like the little change

Would love to go back to my job as a supply sergeant one day but then I remember why I got out in the first place and that puts it all to rest 😅
If you don't mind me asking, why did you get out? My daughter is about to start boot camp for 92y
Whats the usual work schedule like? For example, what are the usual hours and what's the longest you ever had to work?
Going in to my first duty station SG. Any advice or what to expect?

Isaiah, How long did it take for you to get a school slot if you don’t mind me asking? For reclassing.
@@christopherpoole3066 it depends. So I reenlisted to reclass to 92Y on Jan 2018. I had a slot to reclass to Fort Knox, KY on April 2019.

I can’t really speak for 92A but I’ve heard it’s difficult to make E6 but it’s not impossible
Does this mos allow you to travel overseas?
love it !
Hello have you seen any 2 LT as a 92Y?
No, the MOS works different for officer.
do you travel out the country often in this job? Or is it usually in the states?

The best days are the one's when a sensitive item is missing! 😂
Lmao 🤣, it wouldn’t be an issue if HR holders would actually care about their shit.
What time do you get off?
I heard it’s the worse MOS because it’s hard to rank up because there’s so many of them. Easily replaceable. Is it true?
I think you might be confusing the 92A with the 92Y. That statement is true for the 92A

There’s no competition for promotion. I’m not worrying about cut off because I’m not trying to get promoted now
