I'm surprised you haven't done more from the series. Resident evil has such dark and intense music along with enough sad music as well. I hope to see more.
This music made me feel like this: Welcome, you have been stranded in the middle of nowhere, supplies now running dangerously low and threat of Zombie infection rising drastically with each passing day. However, you have a pistol with you, it has more than enough bullets, that if conserved right, could be the difference between life and death. Your only chance is to travel to Britain, for some reason, Zombies could never grasp hold of the population there, they are your one and only hope.
You're awesome. You should really do more Resident Evil music, the series has a lot of great pieces. A medley of songs from Resident Evil Revelations would be awesome.
Korobienki was first by many years....it also a royalty free song.... the Movie Press Start used it in its credits as movie was video game orientated but didnt use any licensed music, but insted had a videogame music guy make there soundtrack to match the tropes. (i own both movies i recommend)
It was more preemptive or delayed from other locations, im glad your was ment harmlessly ive seen many who would cought up bile over defence of the 'red pyramid thing'. It funny as far as games go i usually dalley in retro or games with a retro bent, as they brief and easily slotted in to life. though from second hand watching i loved silent hill games well 1 + 2 (3 +4 were ok) (as have only briefly played)
Resident Evil 2 is the best Resident Evil game there is. Sure RE 4 was great as well, but I could never see it as a RE game because it had no proper zombies. For me, RE 4 and 5 were just spinoff games of the original RE trilogy. The last proper RE was Code Veronica.
Genius, isn't it. I've always been a fan of the RE2 music, and this channel has just gone up another several notches by putting this on here. Luckily, RE2 is on my "to play" pile... but sadly it's been there for at least two years now :/
You are awesome, a lot of tracks free of so good different games. The quality is top professional. It is really rare to find that. Orchestral arrangement all what I always wanted to hear. Thank you for your work. Colossal job. I am wondering how many times it takes to make this kind of track? Totally impressive! I read about you in wiki and your site you seem to be alone? Using a digital audio workstation OO'?
one day I hope to make a live action adaptation of the resident evil series and plan to start with this game. I would love to have you on board for the music if everything goes according to plan!
great music you can truly feel the tension and the shrill in this!! =D by the way do you happen to do request? there's a song i think you'll do great with! =3
Yeah RE2 is considered by most old fans to be the best. It was the first game in the franchise that I played so I guess that factor into my opinion. The whole A/B scenarios thing was cool too, I don't think other RE games follow that (although it looks like RE6 will do)
There's a lot of orchestrations of it because it's actually a Russian song. it's called Korobeiniki. Or Коробейники if you want to search a bit easier.
For your next cover, can you do the real folk blues from Cowboy Bebop? Or see you later space cowboy? I bet you could do it. May be a pain, but i think it would sound great in the end.
RE4 felt like a side story. RE Code: Veronica was more in line with the Racoon City Story Arc than RE4 did. RE4 had no zombies, no Umbrella Corp. as main villain, and story felt bland
I don't want to be a dick, especially since this is so perfectly done, it captures the esence of the original tracks down to the core. Only during the second... I don't know how it's called, phrase? of the save room theme, the notes are C#-Ab-C#-F#-A-Ab, and for me those last three notes are the ones that make it all work. But like I said, it sounds just like the originals.
@@maoyudub1241 yep, those are exactly the notes played in the original track. They're just played one octave lower, maybe that's why it sounds a little bit different here.
@@ajhhc I hear what you mean. This piece repeats the first phrase again, when it slightly differs in the original. This piece is in a different key, though, so your notes aren't quite right. For the key this piece is in it would need to be G D G C D# D. Interesting if you listen to the version on TSO's soundcloud (description) it has the correct notes. Maybe they fixed it after uploading?
@@maoyudub1241 Yes, you're right, I totally missed that, I am not an expert, really, I only play the guitar and know a few scales. The key change must be to better follow the previous track, and you can notice how switching the position of those three notes changes the feeling of the melody significantly, here the melody seems to resolve in the tonic, while the original never gives you that feeling, because it never resolves. Probably he realized that and fixed it after uploading here.
Apart from tank controls and the world "horror" silent hill and resident evil dont really have much in common, i never understood the animosity between the two fan bases. (well till america started messing with silent hill series anyways) if i want a psycholocal horror fill of symbolism and sometimes cultists ill play one of the first 4 silent hills. If i wanna play a intentionally more direct bioweapon/zombie game ill play the Resident Evil games. they completely different beasts.
i think its the best mostly because the 1st didnt really have a good intro WHY they went in the mansion (they could have killed they dogs) and 3 I didnt like nemesis just jumping in a window or popping out of nowhere and i get scared easy at popups and things so it would make me jump -_-
Infact i feel sorry for both, as neither series got a truelly epic film. resident evil phoned it in. and silent hill was made by someone who just didnt get the source material... for anyone who like silent hill i highly recommend twinperfect the real silent hill experience here on youtube (tell em i sent ya)
3:20 old memories :,( the save room . Old is gold
An old re fan was here ☺
Remembering the old times because I played RE2 Remake and I feel a empty space within this beautiful and EPIC MUSIC.
Once again you have stepped into the world of survival horror. Good luck...
Haven't played the game in an age, but as soon as that piano bit came in I recognized it instantly. Awesome work!
I'm surprised you haven't done more from the series. Resident evil has such dark and intense music along with enough sad music as well. I hope to see more.
A great statement was made 5 years ago and yet nothing came of it. Literally just past by the creators head.
@@turoknork8983 Been seven years. Still nothing.
Oh my god, this is absolutely spectacular. Resi 2 is my absolute favourite and to see it represented in this awesome medium makes my heart sing.
This is Beautiful... video game music at its finest!!!
So many memories of sitting around with my uncle on summer vacation as he played this game over and over to play as Tofu...
Yo
That secure place piece
So
Damn
Good man I need a full version of just that

it seriously amazes me how fast and great you make these!
Please do the Resident Evil Outbreak theme. IMO one of the best orchestral pieces in a video game.
This is so well done. Beautiful.
fantastic job! You really brought life to the soundtrack of my childhood game!
Hearing the piano part at 2:00 really makes me want to play this game again!
You're awesome. You should really do more Resident Evil music, the series has a lot of great pieces. A medley of songs from Resident Evil Revelations would be awesome.
definitely agree, I consider it my favorite and then number 4 :)

Oh wow, this is so beautiful
Amazing 🎶
Yes! RE2 soundtrack!
Yup, I love SH1 and SH2 to bits, I played RE2 and RE3 a ton too. I never compared them for they are so different and both great ^^

If you are willing to cover any of Hans Zimmer's work, my life would be fully complete.
Most people consider it the best RE ever made.

I would love to see your rendition of the resident evil outbreak series' main theme :P loved that theme
could you make an orchestra version of the tetris theme? that would be awesome!
one day I hope to make a live action adaptation of the resident evil series and plan to start with this game. I would love to have you on board for the music if everything goes according to plan!
3:23 gave me chills
why are you so awesome!!!

IS anyone ever going to do the Second Malformation of G?
It literally has no covers.
th-cam.com/video/f04Snu9P1A4/w-d-xo.html Enjoy !

If the Resident Evil 2 Remake Happens, Capcom NEED you to do the tracks.
You should do an orchestral version of the NES Ninja Gaiden act 4 stage 2 theme.
That would complete my week.
Yeah RE2 is considered by most old fans to be the best. It was the first game in the franchise that I played so I guess that factor into my opinion. The whole A/B scenarios thing was cool too, I don't think other RE games follow that (although it looks like RE6 will do)
RE 2 is the one where you play as Leon in Raccoon city right?
Yes
Yeah the best game
No
Can ya do an orchestra for the intro of Dark cloud? please?
There's a lot of orchestrations of it because it's actually a Russian song. it's called Korobeiniki. Or Коробейники if you want to search a bit easier.
Yay, I'm 9 years old again! Too bad not for long:(
I just noticed the next video is going to be the 200th video.
Oooh-ho-ho-ho-hooo, this better be good.
cool thanks I never knew that, but still a dummeh rendition of the song would be amazing
Best game of resident evil are 2 and 3
4:40 track name?
Haha I know those hits. Good ole project Sam at work ;)
For your next cover, can you do the real folk blues from Cowboy Bebop? Or see you later space cowboy? I bet you could do it. May be a pain, but i think it would sound great in the end.
Awesome. =D
Would there be any chance of RE3 getting the same treatment?
Would love it if you could do something with "Resident Evil : Code Veronica" as it has a great soundtrack.
If you did the Under Dog Theme, i bet it would be great!!!
I second that, part of me died when File#2 went offline forever.
Omg how could you do that better O.O wow i think not
Please, please, please, do Vaati's Wrath.
Could you orchestrate Kingdom Hearts "Dearly Beloved?"
3:19
There is one. It's called Korobienki: an old Russian folk song
do a soundtrack from resident evil 4!!
i wouldn't consider RE4 to be the best RE game. It's not even in my top 3.
RE4 felt like a side story. RE Code: Veronica was more in line with the Racoon City Story Arc than RE4 did.
RE4 had no zombies, no Umbrella Corp. as main villain, and story felt bland
Yeah, it was like a cheesy terrible action movie that you could play that just featured RE characters
@@JIG-vn8sc Yes, Re 4 ruined the franchise.
How is this/ what is this. How is a couple of figures, better then hands on?
Wesker's theme from RE5 would be great!
The music that you create is amazing. What is your psn?
which timpani did you recommend

If was made to choose i would definatly take Silent Hill 1 / 2 over Resident Evil 1 / 2.
to be honest, resident evil 1 rebirth remain my favourite :D
dummeh please I BEG YOU make the dire, dire docks theme from mario 64!!! that one would sound amazing!! thumbs up if you agree!

why sad instead of creepy?
complex. i like the differeent stages of the song.
Again dummeh I beg of you:
Do "entryway" from Doom II
This is the police station music, am I right?
awesome
