This piece speaks volumes. Thank you for bringing it to life. I'm a huge fan of Ivan Trevino's music. Amazing performance. :)
Thank you my friend!!
Such a beautiful performance!! Thank you!!
Thank for listening!
That is a beautiful instrument

Have fun! Ciao
that vibraphone is beautiful! what model is it?
ava rettig it looks like an adams alpha vibraphone
How do you make it sound like that on 2:28? I know you’re mallet dampening at the end of the run, but it looks like you’re pressing the pedal multiple times
what grip are you using here?
Burton grip
how do you do that damping technique at 2:40 . cause I'm playing this for I&E . and that damping technique seems really cool
Just a mallet dampen - sliding from the edge of the bar.
What hardness of mallets did you use for this piece?
Vic Firth Contemporary Series - model 240 (softest)
VF Contemporary Series 240
How are you able to get that effect on vibes when you dead stroke it?
Not quite sure what you mean - I'm really only mallet dampening in a couple of key places (half note dissonances). Let me know if that's helpful...
it kinda looked like you were doing a pitch bend in parts of the piece , like measure 17 and 18 . 1:32 or so in the video
he was simply muting the A-flat and moving to the G during those parts
Timestamps for myself:0:44
2:30
Is there any sheet music for this?
Yes - available from Ivan's website. ivandrums.com
From Ivan directly - ivandrums.com
