I have one, very impressed how much stuff I can get into one. I'm a general contractor, so I need a variety of stuff. I carry this and my pack out backpack and I'm set for most jobs
I saw one in my local store the other day. I’d like to replace my 15” pack out tote with that but it’s a little too tall to work with my current setup under my diamond back cover
Looks short. Long shank drivers could be a problem. Veto ain’t loosing any sleep over it. Copy of a Veto MC. Wonder about the warranty. For an extra $20 bucks get the Veto.
Depends on how long you need. Six-inch screwdrivers fit in the opening flaps just fine. Depending on the size of the grips, eight-inch would be doable. Veto makes great bags (I have a few), but they aren't able to click onto your Packout system. That's the real selling point on this bag. The bag has a "limited lifetime warranty" according to Milwaukee's website. I'm not sure what the limitations are, but after a few weeks of use, I'm not worried at all about longevity.
My first couple Vito bags were awesome The last couple I bought lasted a couple months where this fall out of the bottom they're absolute garbage now I'm going to try the Milwaukee bag
mines like a year old and really showing it, zippers are starting to suck, tape and tape measure holder is failing, handles on top are looking like they are tearing. And some of the pockets in main area are just useless. everything falls out of the lower pockets. Bag tips over more than me on a wild friday night. Definitely retiring it within the month
Fully loaded, I would guess it's in the 35-40lb range. It would definitely be pretty heavy if I didn't have wheels, but since I usually just move it from my van to a cart with my packout drawers, it isn't bad. Having it secured to the rest of my tool boxes is a lifesaver.
What’s the measurement from the bottom of the bag to where the handle starts/can fold over? Love the bag, but fitting things under a Tacoma bed cover is a challenge sometimes.
I just measured it, and it is about 16" high with the handle folded over and the strap split over the handle. The main compartment of the bag is about 15" high.
How deep is the compartment, thinking of getting this to replace my pack out backpack. Really tired of the backpack falling over Everytime I go to open it. One of my must haves is a 19oz estwing though so curious if it will fit a medium sized hammer
The internal pockets are about 13 1/2" inches tall and about 15 1/2" wide. If you're dealing with longer tools like hammers and large wrenches, I think the open top tote would be idea.
I think it comes down to what kind of tools you need to carry with you. I think the 10" would be great for plumbers and guys that need a lot of larger, longer tools, but who don't need as much organization and small part containers. The 15" seems more geared to technicians with smaller or more specialized tools.
Do you think the side with the bigger pockets is large enough to fit one or two power tools if the pockets aren't being used? I typically like having my compact impact driver and oscillating multitool in my tote and that's what's stopping me from purchasing one of these bags
Yeah, absolutely. The official advertisements show an M12 drill/driver set in the pockets, and I think there is probably room for an 18/20v set in there.
Im a Milwaukee guy but for that price the only bag I'll ever buy is a Veto Pro Pac. You can see where Milwaukee got their inspiration for the design lmao.
Mostly agree. If you're already are in the Milwaukee family, AND you like having the Packout bottom, this is a great choice. It gives you the ProPac that locks in.
Toughbuilt makes good bags for the money, but the last time I checked, they don't make anything that is compatible with Packout connections. That's the real draw here.
not just similar in size they basically ripped the whole design from Veto, that being said I guarantee the only thing about this bag that is equal to a Veto is the price point. @@zebuloncarpenter58
There are worse designs to copy. I wouldn't claim that this bag is a groundbreaking design, or that it does something (outside of the Packout feet) that Veto bags don't do. I think that Veto is still the standard by which all tool bags are judged, but I also think that this bag stands up to that standard really well. The big advantage of this bag is the compatibility with the Packout system, as well as the Milwaukee warranty.
@@zebuloncarpenter58 I wasn't complaining, I like the competition. I use a Veto Pro Tech MTC daily for work and liked from the beginning how I can quickly reach for my tools and how they are organized. There is no "perfect" bag but Milwaukee may bring on some heat from other makers. Good review!
No, you don't get a five year warranty. You get a lifetime warranty. I don't know what the exchange process is, but I'm guessing you can just take it back to Home Depot for a swap, which is way better than dealing with shipping stuff back and forth from Veto. As I said repeatedly in the video (if you bothered to watch it), the quality is fantastic. It is easily on par with Veto.
its not even close to the quality of Veto dude. At that kind of mass manufacturing its not possible. It's an ok bag but just a cheap knockoff of a fantastic bag. @@zebuloncarpenter58

I seen this on Home Depot the other day and didn’t bought it bc I was waiting for a video like this. Thanks for sharing.

I have to see what Toughbuilt Stacktech has to offer first. I love the Toughbuilt tool tote.
I'll be honest, the Stacktech stuff looks impressive. If I weren't already all-in on Packout stuff, I would be seriously looking at Stacktech.
That's where I'm at I'm full into packing but the stack tech I might have to migrate too but that's big money to switch lol
Great video and set up pro level

Never knew that about the strap going over the handle, hell yeah
Thanks. Very well done!
I opted for the back pack- same type of business and 2 + years of wear and tear on it with out any signs of wear and tear.

Yea I bought 2 years ago and I can say it’s held up pretty nice broke in beautifully
16 year Glazier
Thank you for the video A/V tech as well (most of the same tools). This helps in my decision process. Overall how heavy do you think it is?

Hah! Another tool purse to add to the collection! Need some matching Red wings now to go along with! =D Great video!

Thanks Man, I appreciate you putting this up. While im not all in on packout, It seems better then a Veto.
I promise you it’s nowhere near a veto
Not even close. To a veto. Garbage
I need it 😍
I did the same thing today .
It was very expensive.
I’m debating between the 10” and 15” 🤯

Looks big and Heavy
It's as heavy as you want to load it. The bag itself isn't crazy heavy, but it definitely feels solid.
Toughbuilt has some like bags at a fraction of the price.

Absolute rip of the veto techpak lol
price point $500!?
These go for $279 in the US, which is pretty comparably to Veto Pro Pac bags that are similarly sized.
$289 at Home Depot, northern VA

$540?
I'm not sure what country you're in, but they're around $280 on America.
I like it but they're selling did .ore that a Veto where I live. This is ridiculous money just to carry some tools .
This is the tool bag, NOT the tote.

Looks like they kind of copied Veto

Copy and paste from Veto Pro Pac. Quality probably is a crap. Wondering if you have 5 years no downtime warranty. 💩💩💩
