It's so much fun and the power-ups in this game, I remember Hot Pursuit 2010 took this like the spike strips and turbo boost. Also the commentary is hilarious during races, it sounded like it came from an anime dub lol
Man, I was a king of this game. It was my proving ground to cop chases along with Hot Pursuit 2, so after the NFSMW came out, the cops there were an easy task for me Btw, this is basically the first "Blur" game with actual branded cars in it.

This game my whole childhood was considered one of the first games I ever played in my life it was very difficult Roads need to be studied and memorized Unlocking new cars and roads will require you to participate in tournaments, but it was very difficult because the pieces are bumpy and very narrow, especially the Rome road Also, the computer in this game was very cheating, but with getting used to, I always beat them, but it was a very easy game. You can enter and start the race very easily without entering menus or anything. However, it is one of the best games I played in my childhood, as I always played it with my brother in multiplayer The commentary were very funny I think this game could become a series with a story and content because of the strangeness of the ideas it presents Also, I think the graphics were very good at that time
I own this game :D Its really nice game and fun to play. Playd alot Split-screen with friend. I got NFS Carbon & NFS U2 , Juiced 1 , ( somehow Simpsons - road rage - did not really enjoyd ) , GT Racing ( Glitchy ) , WIPEOUT Pulse ( Used to play WIPEOUT 3 ) , Spyhunter and ofc Gran Turismo 4. Thos are my only Racing games on PS2. ( Edit I playd WIPEOUT 3 not 2098 :'D my bad )
What version of PCSX2 did you use? It doesn't work in 1.4.0. The Wiki says something about needing an ELF patch, but searching for ELF Patch only turns up references to other games needing them as well.
I did, it won't run. Old system, old version of Windows, no longer supported by programmers. I'll just have to wait until I get a newer system. Actually, most new versions of emulators no longer work for me.

I love how theses racing games scream early 2000's PS2 era, even though i havent played this game i feel the nostalgia from this era.
