  • Today we look at a Junior Suite on Royal Caribbean Liberty of the Seas. Check out a tour of an Interior Stateroom here: • Royal Caribbean Libert...
Hey cruisers, it’s Sheri with CruiseTipsTV.
This is cabin 9326 a junior suite on the Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas.
These rooms have two twin beds that convert to a Royal King bed. We found this bed to be quite comfortable, and slept very well. Continuing on we see the sofa bed and sitting area. There’s also a nice flat-screen TV.
Here again is the sofa bed, and this is how it looks when folded out as a bed.
This room is a nice big room with plenty of open space. It can also be divided with a sliding privacy curtain.
If you look closely you’ll see one of our favorite features; a coffee pot, and you can also get a good look at the desk, vanity and some of the storage options.
Let’s take a look at some of those options now. There’s a typical mini bar, which we usually have emptied so we can use it as a fridge. On both sides of the vanity you’ll find these clever cabinets for smaller items. There’re plenty of drawers here, including one equipped with a hair dryer … yea! To the right you’ll find a tall thin closet containing the safe.
Now this is truly a luxury for us - a walk in closet - on a cruise ship, so nice. Lot’s of room and easy access to both folded and hanging items.
Now, let’s take a look at the bathroom. There’s a nice big mirror here, and as a bonus there’s these corner medicine cabinets on both sides of the mirror. Very handy. Another favorite feature is this nice big bathtub.
And finally, we’ve saved the best for last; this big beautiful private balcony.
That’s it for this episode. Thanks for watching, and until next time, we’ll see you on the high seas.

I've been looking at several of the videos of Junior Suites on RCI. Yours is the best I've seen! Very professionally done with nice slow pans so you can easily see the details of the cabin. This is a big contrast to most that jerk the camera around and pan way too fast.

I just booked our second ever cruise on the Liberty of the Seas for the 7 night Western Caribbean from Galveston Texas and am enjoying watching your ship and room tour videos. Thanks for posting these! Last year we went on the Disney Dream and am super curious to see how Royal Caribbean compares!

We had a junior suite on Independence of the Seas just like this. So much space! We loved it.

Nice spacious room. Speaking of RCL, I love that they use Seattle's Best Coffee.

Do they? In the dining rooms, etc? Darn, I didn't notice. The coffee packets in the mini suite weren't good. Thankfully we'd saved a few starbucks packets for the in room pot from a hotel. I missed missed a lot on this trip because our agenda was too full!

CruiseTipsTV It's in the Promenade Cafe and the Dining Room, at least that's how it was a year ago. Better than Starbucks I think. How much time did they have you working?
We had dinner with a couple in their 40's, a couple in their 50's, and a couple sisters around 80's, but all had this silly/sarcastic dynamic. The waiters started messing with us, mixing lemon juice or coke into our ice tea, singing happy birthday to random people, and filling the table full of deserts. We even got surprise Peanut Butter sandwiches dressed to look gourmet. Thankfully they never messed with the coffee.

Wow, that waitstaff must have felt very comfortable with you!
I prefer Seattle's best too- starbucks tends to be too strong.
I wasn't really working on RCL, but rather meeting colleagues, helping with a fun video for our company awards ceremony and other activities related to the incentive trip. So, it was all fun stuff- just exhausting and distracted me from enjoying the ships nuances.
I love the large staterooms on RCL, the dining room food, the waitstaff, all exceptional. Only tough part for me was the feeling of crowding on that ship, but that may have been related to the cold front in Florida which resulted in chilly sea days. Not the norm for the caribbean - people were forced indoors which makes me stir crazy. It was so windy that deck chairs were flying through the air at one point. We had one warm sea day, but I still never sat by the pool on this voyage.

The waitstaff was great, and they got more comfortable as the trip went along. We chose anytime dining but bonded with our stablemates the first night, then converted to timed. People were very approachable in general, but there was also a minority of burned frowned faced people who looked miserable, maybe 5-10%. Notice anything like that? I'm afraid some of them may have been fans of the old school country label I went there to meet!
Our cruise was in February last year, but was sunny and warm the whole time. The promenade was always busy, but there were plenty of people outside to lighten the load. What would it be like to be trapped on Oasis under those conditions? I think they're building too many Oasis class ships, they can't hardly dock anywhere, and may limit RCL's itinerary's as they sell older ships.

Wonderful video! I am sailing on Indy end of March, it will be only my 3rd Cruise and first with a balcony! I am wondering what camera you used and how did you get that nice steady shot, if i may? I will be doing alot of pics and vids on my cruise...so any tips on a smooth shot equipment or whatever would be awesome. Thanks!

+Mike Flynn Hi Mike, Thanks for the nice comment, and questions. My husband does most of the camera work, and I know he tries really hard to get smooth shots. Sometimes he'll take shots over and over just because he doesn't like some little shake. It has been a while since he did this, but he thinks it was mostly GoPro and iPhone footage. He tried a stabilizer called the Smoothee from Steadicam (amzn.to/1pzSeOz). He said it was okay, but if there was even the slightest breeze it was worthless. Have a terrific cruise! We think you'll love the balcony. We always do.

Just bought a Refurb Canon T5 for only $239!!! I am using that primarily for the sweet pics and it does take decent video as well. So excited now. I do NOT like how big it is BUT I will manage. I tried your link for the stedicam and it didn't work but I can look into it some more. Thanks again...

Hi there, I love all your videos! Going on the R.C Navigator in mid July, Western Caribbean off Galveston. We always leave off Florida ports.. Any suggestions ???

    • @CruiseTipsTV
      @CruiseTipsTV  9 ปีที่แล้ว

Sounds wonderful! What ports are you visiting? That will help with suggesting tje right things.
I've never sailed on the Navigator, but i suggest indulging in a specialty restaurant, and preparing for warm, humid weather. July is muggy.

Ah, wonderful! In Belize, most people go river tubing, but if that's not on your bucket list, I recommend Goff's Caye- it's a little piece of island paradise. In Cozumel, we loved Nachi Cocom, a private beach club. Trip advisor has great ideas for activities in each.
      Cozumel also has terrific shopping.

Hmmm! I am surprised that there is no shower cubicle. I don't like showering in the bath tub, I feel most unsafe - at age 81
