Divorce was the hardest thing ever, even more than the stroke I had after it. I was taught there is no such thing as divorce period and it is a possible damnation sentence. Then I found my husband had been cheating on me throughout our 25 yr marriage and when I found the love letter he had written to one of them, and then found the pornagraphy he was into, it devastated me. I think it was one cause of my stroke. I was determined not to divorce, but when during counseling the porn issue came up he said, honestly it has always been a part of my life and I don't see it changing.... floored me. So, I told him that I couldn't stay with the sin and live with it so it was decided by him that his lusts were more than his love for me. that was about 14 years ago. it still is a scar within.
Am one of those returning to the law of Moses. I read these scriptures: John 5: 45-47 Jesus told the Pharasees: "Do not think I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accusses you - Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?" That did it for me. I will let the scriptures correct me not me trying to correct the scriptures to suit my desires.

I understand and see what you are saying. I am confused, though when I read passages like Heb. 8:6, Heb. 8:7-13 and Gal. 3:24,25. Could you please explain these? Thanks.
Monte/anyone, the question I am running into as of late coming from Messianic Jewish believers and teachers is the following: Is the teaching of all shall follow the commands of God who come into faith somehow a form of replacement theology and therefore antisemitic? I fully agree with you as the Lord also showed me that there is one law for all people, however not all see it that way. UMJC affiliated synagogues are not teaching for believers from a Gentile background to follow the law, only Jewish believers. They preach that there is a distinction between the Jew and Gentile which I do see scripturally, however I don’t find a Biblical basis for the Noachide laws. I could go on but this is where I see a problem in my walk now. I attend a UMJC congregation, but I always feel something is off. Thoughts?
Essentially they believe that the law was given only to physical Israel. The issue being that physical Israel was and has been a mixture. Throughout the Bible we see Gentiles joining Israel. Becoming Israelites or the later language used "jews". By the time of Yeshua, what it meant to be "jewish" was Slightly convoluted. But I digress, as it regards the Torah the only parts meant only for physical Israel are the ones where God specifically states the commandment on which he is speaking is meant for the natural born Israeli. Of course over a few generations any gentile who joined, their descendants (assuming they stayed) would qualify as that. Just like there were some commandments that were specific levi, more specifically to the line of aharon. So on and so forth. The UJMC messes up on this. I have read some of their books on this, or atleast those affiliated with them, and they can never seem to make a consistent argument for their conclusions. Generally the MJAA is better on that specific point. But there are some really good Rabbis and teachers in the UJMC. when all Isra’el have come to appear in the presence of Adonai at the place he will choose, you are to read this Torah before all Isra’el, so that they can hear it. Assemble the people - the men, the women, the little ones and the foreigners you have in your towns - so that they can hear, learn, fear Adonai your God and take care to obey all the words of this Torah; and so that their children, who have not known, can hear and learn to fear Adonai your God, for as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Yarden to possess.” (RY: vi, LY: v) D'varim (Deu) 31:11-13 CJB One of many passages I look at that make it hard to say the Torah wasn't meant for gentiles as well. Why command that the Gentiles who joined Israel should learn the Torah so as to fear God if it wasn't meant for them... if it's not meant for them to obey then this command makes no sense. Anyway, I hope this helps. Generally speaking there won't ever be a perfect congregation. Most UMJC are going to be great despite faulting on this one issue. But if your specific congregation makes this a huge issue or it's something thsy is causing you to stumble, then perhaps seek out a different congregation. But family isn't always perfect. So just keep that in mind.
Leviticus 18:24-28 Lev 18:24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: Lev 18:25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. Lev 18:26 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: Lev 18:27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) Lev 18:28 That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
Matthew 5:17-20 reads as follows: 17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. 18 “For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law until all is accomplished.

Where do I stand?. Do I wait for him to divorce me? Do I wait till I am old and gray?Help.
Someone once said that Christians only teach Yeshua. That if you get to Yeshua you are at the gate of heaven. But they don't talk about what Yeshua talked about. So you can't get the key to go in.
Rabbi I didnot read in the new testement perticular law of Christ for christian. Many a time I ask preachers of church of christ for the same they are not clear.
I know this is about a year old but maybe someone can answer my question. I'm not understanding this recent rejection of the name "Christian" by believers. I wasn't aware of it being among them in Yéshua, or the "Christians," but now is a name to be shunned ? Weren't the believers in Acts first called Christians at Antioch (I might be mistaken) ? Doesn't Christian mean "little christ's" (a mockery of believers) , or "christ followerers," identification with Jesus Christ because they followed Jesus and His teachings of The Way, The Truth, and The Life ? Millions have been tortured and persecuted, and died under that name, which is a derivative of Christ, Messiah. Martyrs giving their lives for the cause of Christ but they gave their lives for a dishonorable name ? Maybe I haven't seen enough info on this yet, but from here, I don't understand. We've been robbed in the Churches of the importance of the Tenach, the Comnandments, the Sabbath, the fact that Messiah was a Jew, He observed the Feast Days of the Lord as a Jew, He went to Temple and prayed among other Jews, we have a spiritual heritage that's been covered up, so I understand the interest in learning more. It looks like we've been given a refurbished product on the inside but a christian label stuck on the outside. Confusing.
Matthew 23:27-28 “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean. 28 In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
I have a legitimate question, in Wayyiqra 17:4. If I'm too follow the law. How do I take an animal to the Tent of Appointment if we have not a temple or tent anymore To follow the Law, as a Believer in Yeshua Hamashiach, knowing His sacrifice was the sacrificial lamb for the world. You stated chapters 17 & 18 is The heart of The Law. How do I fulfill this law?
Paul was persecuted because he taught the gentiles to abandon the law of Moses and circumcision, that salvation comes only through faith in the Messiah. How do you explain that?
He was FALSELY accused of teaching against the law of Moses. He never did teach against God's law, and he kept it. He even took the Nazarite vow in order to prove to his accusers that he did not teach against the Torah.
@@jamesh7554 Sir, according to Galatians, he indeed taught against circumcision and the law of Moses. What he did by show to the Isaerite that he wasn't against the law of Moses was an effort to avoid being harmed by his countrymen. Remember this quote in the book of Galatians: "If any man tries to be justified by the keeping of the law, he is cut off from Christ and no longer under God's grace". The truth is that Paul's teaching is contrary to the everlasting covenant Yahweh had with the Israelites and what Yeshua said concerning the permanency of the laws. Why are there so much controversies between the New and the OldT Testament?
@Christian Nwodo If it wasn't for Paul's writings, there would be no Christian that would be able to make the case that God's law is done away with. I admit that there are sections of his writings that certainly seem like that is what he is saying. We then have two choices to make with Paul's writings. He is either a false teacher and we need to throw his writings out, or Christians are completely misunderstanding what he is actually teaching. I lean to the second option. Peter backs me up on that in 2 Peter at the end of chapter 3. We have to read his writings very carefully and understand the entire context. In Deuteronomy 13 God gives specific instructions on how to test any prophet or teacher to come after that point. Anyone teaching contrary to God's word and against His commandments is a false teacher. That test applied to all the prophets that came in the OT, the apostles in the NT, and even Jesus. I believe even Paul passed the Deuteronomy 13 test, but you have to pay close attention to the words and the context. He is very hard to follow at times. He can appear to say one thing in one verse, then the complete opposite a couple verses later. Context is key.
@@jamesh7554 I all sincerity, the contradictions you see in the New Testament is a deliberate effort by the Anti-messiah to deceive many. The Bible is a doctored Scripture.many people haven't realized it. But we know the truth when we lean toward the Torah. For instance, have you realized that Matthew 1:1-16 agrees with Deuteronomy 18 :15 that Jeshua would be begotten of by a human father? Why then did they introduce the virgin birth fable. These folks told lies with parts of the Bible, especially in the New Testament, to deceive the elect.
I have a question about the Torah teaching about leaving the alter to be reconciled with your fellow human before you can come before God. What if the reason that I’m at odds with someone is due to lifestyle difference? For example, I’m a Christian and therefore I consider homosexuality and abortion to be sins. So a homosexual person and a pro-abortion person decide to “take issue” with me for that reason. How does God want me to “reconcile” with those people before I come before him. The only reconciliation they would accept is if I stop believing homosexuality and abortion were sins. But then l’d be promoting sin wouldn’t I?
I love your content Monte, can you explain why you largely ignore the main verses that our Lord clearly says to us. Like Acts 10 9-16(God has made gentiles clean, so along with food clean that was unclean), 1 Corinthians 7:19(circumcision is not needed). I am not asking in disagreement to you, although it is there, I am asking in clarification so I know if you are correct or not. Please do not be offended by this brother Acts 17:11, Proverbs 9:8.
But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.” And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.” This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again. Acts 10:14-16 NKJV But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.” And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven. Acts 10:14-16 ESV I would like to help you to notice, and by all means check a interlinear bible to check for yourself, the 2 categories used. Unclean and common. God responds back not to the unclean but the common. To understand acts chapter 10 two big things are required 1st and most importantly is Peter interpretation of the dream in Acts 11 and he never mentions that unclean food is not clean. In fact he doesn't mention food at all. To make acts 10 about food is to go beyond the scripture. Let scriptures define and explain scripture. 2nd thing is pay close attention to the words used amd context context context. The word of focus here and the one God replies to is common, NOT Unclean. This is Extremely important!!! What us common as it regards food? Is it the same as unclean in that it includes pork, shell fish, camels etc... No. Common is biblically clean foods that have become ritually unclean. This is a Pharisees based category. It's a category that isn't defined by Torah. It's a man made category. It's something that is in a sense not Holy, but not bad either. It's not the same as unclean like Leviticus 11. It's more like the modern typical Rabbinic concept of kosher, it goes far Beyond the bible. Biblical kosher is one chapter, Leviticus 11. Rabbinic kosher is a small book of regulations. In any case the main jewish belief of the time was that Gentiles are unfit for service or use or really anything as it regards God. And that a jew who came in contact with gentiles would become ritually unclean. In fairness the avg Pagan gentile would have been unclean, but not due to being a gentile, but to being a pagan. And the teaching at the time was that a gentile, regardless of their worship of the correct God or not, were not clean. But either common (not for for God, not Ritually clean) or that they were unclean, which was typically the default view on the pagan gentiles which agian for the pagan gentile this would have essentially been true. But obviously Cornelius wasn't a pagan gentile so yeah... There is more that can be said but I hope this helps on giving a more proper understanding of Acts 10!!!
As an English major, there is only one definition of "fulfilled". To contradict Messiah, is utterly ridiculous. All Glory and Praise to the Lord Our G-d!!!
The big issue I hope you bring up is that there is no way u can observe all Gods laws first there is no temple secondly 613 commandments u can’t even remember. I love this series but need clarification.
Salvation is by Grace, obeying the law brings blessings. No one, except messiah, has been able to keep the law perfectly. The goal isn't to keep the law perfect for salvation but to obey because we love messiah.
Just because I may fail does not mean I don't aspire to try. Yashua said if you love me obey my commandments. So for the reason of love we try, though we will fail, we continue anyways, thats where grace and mercy is relevant in the relationship. We keep the law not for perfection but for love and by trying we reap the blessings

Thank you very much for doing this video series. I cannot begin to tell you how much it has helped me
Amen.! Thank for this teaching,. A timely message for me. As I love the Torah and Haftarah and the Brit Chadash.. call you blessed 🙌
Hey Monte, you probably know this... These teachings will put you "in the Lion's den" with most Christians and pastors.
It is God who must open their eyes before His law can be written on their hearts. These are those who will profit from this. 🙏
Lions care not the opinions of sheep... the time has come for us to rise and rise again until lambs become lions...
It is the job of a watchman to sound the alarm...
It is EVERYONE'S job to spread the truth about YHVH and to refute lies about HIM and HIS Son Yeshua...
It is time for "Christians" and "pastors" to come out from her lest they receive of her plagues...
Thank you Monte! Thankful for your teaching. Clear and concise as always !!
With respect to the "greatest" and "least in the kingdom" discussion, I have discussed this matter with a baptist and he vehemently asserts "at least I'll be in the kingdom." For some, it seems that is all they want and they are convinced they can dismiss major portions of Torah if they please. They delude themselves into thinking the Torah is of little to no meaning.
Excellent teaching, by the way. I'm glad to have found your channel.
Very good teaching from Matthew 5 & the Law. Thanks so much!
I'm very glad to have found this ministry. Praise Yehovah!
That's why I left the Christian Church and the Father led me to the truth. Thank you so much for posting this. I am a "follower of the way"
Thank you for teaching.
Thank you for holding the line on God's laws. Shammingly the church today has ignored or watered-down the Word.
Thank you Monte!
Thank you.
I was raised in a Baptist home, King James Bible, old and New Testament but focused more on the New Testament. I have always been interested in religious genealogy. I stopped attending church, haven’t been in awhile. But every day, I pray 🙏 talk to God and dive into his word . I read out the ESV bible and NKJV, what type of bible do Messianic ChristianJews use?
Very good teaching... certainly appropriate for the times we live in.
Great AMEN
Thank you, Shalom
Thank you for listening to your internet flock! You moved the microphone and it is so much easier to pay attention! Thank you Rabbi Monte!
I’m an israeli believer the word גט is with ט not ת . I agree I haven’t seen גט together but גת is a Philistin town Gat. Happy to help with Hebrew . Enjoying your teaching
@@thundercloud7139 thank you

Yes, praise Jehovah!!
Merci !
Excellent teaching 👏
Thanks!
Amen! Thank you Monte. ❤️🕎🇮🇱
Am one of those returning to the law of Moses. I read these scriptures: John 5: 45-47
Jesus told the Pharasees: "Do not think I shall accuse you to the Father; there is one who accusses you - Moses, in whom you trust. For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote about me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?"
That did it for me. I will let the scriptures correct me not me trying to correct the scriptures to suit my desires.
Exactly! Was rebuked by a man and disregarded it, moments later I read it in the scriptures and quickly repented to G-d and that man.
Nice yarmulke
100% TO FOLLOW MOSES

Awesome Brother! Another Fantastic Teaching! I am 4warding these Episode 2 Brothers & Sisters mislead & mis-shepherded by the Roman Catholic Ideologies. Shalom Brother
The Ten Commandments Covers All Law Perfectly.
When I heard for the first time, we need to obey the law of Moisés, I did like it, I immediately obeyed, I love israel Elohim. Shalom
Amen, teach it Monte! Spot on!!!
Shabbat Shalom
Thank you Mr Judah
Great as always Monte.
Thank you enjoy your teaching !
You are the first person I have heard speak about the portion in Number 30
I understand and see what you are saying. I am confused, though when I read passages like Heb. 8:6, Heb. 8:7-13 and Gal. 3:24,25. Could you please explain these? Thanks.
The problem many churches only preach out of New Testament 🤨
Dear brother. Fina
Fulfill means to further establish the Law... Until the End. Until all bow unto Maschiach himself
It's learning self discipline
Something greater. Matt5. I want to learn.
Assemble the people - the men, the women, the little ones and the foreigners you have in your towns - so that they can hear, learn, fear Adonai your God and take care to obey all the words of this Torah; and so that their children, who have not known, can hear and learn to fear Adonai your God, for as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Yarden to possess.” (RY: vi, LY: v)
D'varim (Deu) 31:11-13 CJB
One of many passages I look at that make it hard to say the Torah wasn't meant for gentiles as well.
It’s really sad…😢
Leviticus 18:24-28
Lev 18:24
Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:
Lev 18:25
And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.
Lev 18:26
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
Lev 18:27
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
Lev 18:28
That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.
People who say that the law of God was done away with want a free ride to sin.
If more Christians would read James and ask questions, they'd wakeup.
Shabbat Shalom Monte !
If the Messiah would abolish the Law and the Prophets, what could be the motive for any persecution, the Messiah have just talked about in Matheus 5 ?
Matthew 5:17
This law controversy was resolved at the Council in Jerusalem. And we know the outcome. How do you explain that?
Question: if kindness is the last law, how does the verse 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 of love is patient, love is kind fit into this teaching? I thought kindness was synonymous with love.
Can you talk about how we are to keep the commandments about animal sacrifice?
We cannot at this time…there is no priesthood or Temple…🙏
Sabbath Shalom dear teacher. I am a Christ follower of about 32 years living in Turkey. For the last few years my wife has been participating in an online messianic group. Unfortunately, there is no messianic community in our city or nearby. Do you have live meetings via zoom-style platforms? (I understand and speak English).
Im am so perplexed. I married my husband because I lived him. I loved him because he treated me like a queen, said he loved me ,adored me etc. I was also sleeping with him and I felt convicted. I found out after I married him they he was full on narcissist. I had no idea what that was until after I left him. I left him after he abused me and I haven't heard from him in 7 months. Where do I stand?. Do I wait for him to divorce me? Do I wait till I am old and gray?Help.
if there is no escape what do i do my friend

Someone once said that Christians only teach Yeshua. That if you get to Yeshua you are at the gate of heaven. But they don't talk about what Yeshua talked about. So you can't get the key to go in.
Rabbi I didnot read in the new testement perticular law of Christ for christian. Many a time I ask preachers of church of christ for the same they are not clear.
Yes Jesus took issue with many things the Jews of his day taught.
Even so much as the day starts at dawn.

What does shabbat sense?
How do I take an animal to the Tent of Appointment if we have not a temple or tent anymore
To follow the Law, as a Believer in Yeshua Hamashiach, knowing His sacrifice was the sacrificial lamb for the world.
You stated chapters 17 & 18 is The heart of The Law.
How do I fulfill this law?
Repent!
This issue was not circumcision in general, it was circumcision in order to attend synagogue service…🙏
Keep walking out and preaching God’s Truth…
So what do you do if you have married someone who is divorced?
Is the person they divorced still living?
Yeshua’s Sacrifice cleanses us of our past sins…🙏
So basically what you are saying is that we are still in the Old covenant? Do you practice animal sacrifices?
Daniel 5:27.
If your husband broke all these marriage laws what should his wife do?
Yeshua said divorce is justified for sexual infidelity and nothing else…🙏
Acts 10:14-16 NKJV
But Peter said, “By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean.” And the voice came to him again a second time, “What God has made clean, do not call common.” This happened three times, and the thing was taken up at once to heaven.
Acts 10:14-16 ESV
I would like to help you to notice, and by all means check a interlinear bible to check for yourself, the 2 categories used.
God commands obedience to all His commandments…🙏
As an English major, there is only one definition of "fulfilled". To contradict Messiah, is utterly ridiculous. All Glory and Praise to the Lord Our G-d!!!
The big issue I hope you bring up is that there is no way u can observe all Gods laws first there is no temple secondly 613 commandments u can’t even remember. I love this series but need clarification.
Salvation is by Grace, obeying the law brings blessings. No one, except messiah, has been able to keep the law perfectly. The goal isn't to keep the law perfect for salvation but to obey because we love messiah.
Agreed ! However the way it’s presented implied we must obey them which is impossible
We must obey, we will fall at times, but we keep trying.
Ads??? Ugh.
That's powerful. The church doesn't stand against homosexuality because it does not stand for the law of God
The Lord also wanted us to see the difference between love and lust. Lust is one of the seven deadly sins.
There are 613 deadly sins…🙏
The world churches are full of Apostates Priests and Pastors claiming they're Holy Righteous Apostles and Shepherds like Jesus Christ...
