Brief notes 🌱 - don’t become a person that argues about religion, because most of the people that do that actually have no idea about that topic at all - What is halal is halal even if no one is doing it and what is haram is haram even if everyone is doing it - What is right or wrong in the deen should be left to the scholars, those who dedicated their life to that cause TikTok is the house of yapping - The more you engage in debate the more you start hating people, and you end up cutting people off - Everything Allah says we should do always come with steps on how they should be done and we learn that from the prophet ﷺ When you find yourself in a place where you need to have a “argument or debate” 1. Never become disrespectful about the topic - don’t mock the topic even if you disagree with it - uphold the sanctity of Allah 2. Always hold yourself to a high standard - when they go low don’t go low with them - don’t use bad language 3. Be sincere and know when to take the L 4. Be thorough 5. Once things are settled thank Allah - that there is a clear path forward 🌱 don’t be angry - The default ruling for anger is that its bad - it’s a reprehensible thing - But there are moments when it’s allowed - If you can’t control your nafs then it will be very difficult for you to not get angry - Anger has the ability to shave your faith away - The strong one is not the one who can beat up other people, rather it’s the one who has the ability to control their anger ♥️ When was the last time you were able to stop yourself from doing something you really wanted? - remember Allah is Al Baseer - Al Raqeeb - He is always watching- cheering you on because He wants you to win - Allah promises Jannah to the one who able to hold themselves back - Anger is intoxicating like wine and it has its own hangover, which is usually regret from what they said and did - Everyone gets angry but don’t let it consume you - anger is like a sand storm you’ll have to let everything get settled before you make a decision - Say something good or be quiet - when you feel angry seek refuge in Allah from Shaytaan How to know if your thoughts are from Shaytaan or you 1. From you : The thoughts Sound familiar - normal 2. Shaytaan whispers are crazier - and a bit more extreme - make wudhu when you’re angry - Go and lay down - remove yourself from that situation ♥️ A person who can’t control their anger can’t be close to Allah it leads to using bad language, jealousy, envy Righteous anger - When you see bombs dropping and innocent people being killed it’s ok to be angry in these instances
