Yet another reason why artificial intelligence needs to decide cases. A computer would not get emotionally entangled like humans. A torso is all that it would need. Next evidence!
In the Cauvin case they asked the young black girls how they "felt" about what they witnessed. How the F does that matter and why bridle the jury with those emotions.

Exactly and the defense seems to think he played with the heart strings of the jurors but as far as I'm concerned the proscicution has a duty to draw a clear and precise picture of what the facts are and sometimes the jurors may feel sad or disgusted or angry and have those emotions but in the end they make a decision based on the evidence not how they FEEL. So the defense final statements were not great and were quite loaded and quite frankly unprofessional and bordering on rude.

And even after all the torment, grieving, betrayal, etc. that Chandler has inflicted on the remaining members of his, and Cat's family, I'd still be willing to bet that if Bart and Krista were able to speak on their sons behalf, they'd still want mercy for their son. It seemed like (from EVERY person who described them) that they were truly "salt of the earth" people. Genuinely good. And they were quite literally ripped from this world just as they'd begun to enjoy their later years, or look forward to retirement, and spend time just relaxing, and watching their children begin their own lives. Unfortunately, they had no idea as to what monster lurked within their own son.
The things he did to them both in murdering, and post mortem are simply unspeakable. They wouldn't have cared if he admitted that he didn't have the eduvation, job, future etc. that he lied about. I'd bet they'd have stuck by him, and worked it out. But his ego, and warped personality wouldn't let it go.
My heart breaks for Mitch, Barts brother, Cat, her Mom & Cress, and the best friends of Krista and Bart that all have to suffer this senseless loss.

This is just horrific, how in God’s good name can someone be so unbelievably brutal, sadistic and just plain evil towards anyone ESPECIALLY your parents, the people that brought you into this world, raised you, tried to do the best for you!!!! This just is absolutely horrifying and sick!!!!! May those beautiful people rest in God’s loving embrace always!!!!! May the brother of this monster find peace

@Donna Mauriello .Why did "God" not protect those beautiful people from such a horrific end tragic end of life ? Someone let me know if you want to know the answer to that question and I'll post it.

@@kokettabrown986 - I'm thinking more that *@Amazing Supergirl* meant that _there is no "gawd"_ - "it" *doesn't exist,* and never has. It was imagined by fearful men during the Bronze Age to explain natural phenomena, like bad weather, floods, drought, crop failure, infant/child deaths, disease, etc - long before science had developed (evolved) enough
to rationally explain them. It was also a way of *controlling people's behaviour,* by *instilling fear* in them of an all-powerful, supernatural entity/sky-daddy/authoritarian that was loving-yet-punishing.
