Just made this recipe now that it’s finally the weekend and I have time, tastes absolutely amazing! As someone who makes oatmeal everyday, the toasting the oats makes a big difference!
I've been using PB Fit 2 instead of traditional peanut butter to drop the calories and fat amount but keeping the pb flavor and protein. Adding a little more water milk to adjust. Great recipe as always
Just purchased your cookbook today! I love how simply, quick, tasty and low cal your recipes are! My goal for the year was to cook more and your recipes make that possible with my busy schedule! Thank you!
you can use light whipped cream which comes in at around 200 kcal also i highly recommend using a milk frother. this way you can get 1.5% milk to a thick consistency. whip it under the oats and the whole thing becomes super fluffy/creamy :)
Whenever you want to achieve a "deep rich chicolatey flavour", add a bit of instant espresso/coffee powder. Near to 0 calories, but imo a great flavour enhancement
Hey man love your videos, I don't have access to casein protein but i still want some thickness. Can i use any vegan protein powders or egg white protein powder for thickness?
Any plant based protein would work great - they are very good at thickening) also you can adjust the thickness by adding tiny tiny bit of Xantham gum. It would be 0 cals, but will help with the texture a lot))
Feier deinen Kanal extrem bruder!
I've tried using casein for my overnight oats and I didn't like the texture at all. But I switched to doing morning oats and sticked with using whey. I'll give it a try tomorrow with casein.
would Magerquark or fat-free Joghurt (both lactose-free) work as an alternative to greek yogurt / skyr? also, any recommendation where to get powdered peanuts in Germany?
I've made this this morning and the texture is perfect even with vegan protein powder (nu3 vanilla one which is really not that flavourful to begin with), it was so creamy and amazing. But there was barely any flavour to it so maybe it's because of the protein powder that I used? I still really enjoyed it and I would probably try it again thank you for the recipe (I also halved the recipe)
I want to try this, but I really hate spending a ton of money on protien powder, especially when I don't know if I'll like the flavor of what I buy. I also never see casein options when I'm looking around stores. Still, if I can find some reasonably priced protein powder, I'll give this a try.
I've tried that, it's just not the same. I mean, I guess it depends on what protein brand are you using, but the average protein chocolate powder is just off. So I prefer using vanilla and add cocoa powder.
@@kristijan8518 Again, it all depends on your choco protein powder and on your taste. You can try and see if you like the taste. If you have a very good choco tasting protein and you like the taste, it all good and you also save some kcals because you don't add cocoa. For example, I am using MyProtein Whey Protein, which tastes not so good, except the vanilla one. I ordered 2 days ago a choco protein from Dymatize, which I understood is much better, so I'm curious if I will need cocoa with that one.
Knew it was probably yogurt in there. I don't like yogurt in oatmeal, and I can't stand peanut butter because it's just too strong. Also don't like cocoa powder very much. Darn. At least I can get a somewhat high protein oatmeal with everything else you mentioned. Thanks :)
A 635 calorie meal with that much protein will put me to sleep 😴 (so maybe I should eat it before dinner, even though eating oats at night feels weird)

Felu, what are your thoughts about the ultra processed nature of Casein and other protein powders, the addition of several chemicals and sweeteners, and that chasing protein maybe doing more harm than good?
That’s too much work. Oats, milk, chia seeds, Casein Protein, Yogurt, cocoa powder, peanut butter, Whip Cream 8 ingredients I just make 60 instant oats and put 2 scoops of protein powder. Total 450 Calories
I just had multiple dietician’s over the past month tell me ur body can’t absorb more than 25 grams of protein at a time, so what’s the point in even doing this?
The science changes every couple years, then they act like your supposed too believe what they are telling you is gospel, they'll be telling you something else in a couple years depending on who is paying them at that time.
It's been well established now that there is no virtual limits to how much protein the body can absorb at once. It doesn't oxydize, it doesn't get wasted, the body uses it all. Be it in a weight loss, bulking or maintenance context, there is no disadvantage to eating even over 100g of protein in a single meal. The most important factor will always be how much total protein you ate during the day. How you space it out matters very little, though there is a very slight advantage to space it out throughout 4~6 meals in order to optimize muscle protein synthesis. But for anyone that's not a pro athlete already near or at top level, it really doesn't matter.

Could you make savoury oatmeal options too?
Your description says 200g yogurt when it should be 20. I was very confused as to how this wouldn't just taste like yogurt with 200. It does!
@godminnette2 I put 200grams off yogurt as well. Turned out like yogurt. I think it's 20 grams
It's such a satisfaction when you have all the ingredients for the recipe. Gonna try this next morning!

PB powder was a game changer for me too!!!
PDCAAS for peanut butter is .52 AKA it’s a garbage ass protein. But it does taste nice thats for sure
It’s horrible. Use real deal
Flavour wise real Peanut butter is better but it's so calorie dense unfortunately. If you are trying to cut calories the PB fit helps! @thealiceftw
Fair enough. Personally I’d rather take the extra calories any day - can’t beat the crunch and added satiating factor of good pb

I made this and it was pretty amazing with really good macros aswell, felu has cooked once again
Getting shredded in just under 4 minutes actually became a reality! Felu does it again! 🔥
Thanks again Felu for another great video!
This is truly an amazing recipe and I can't wait to try it. The addition of the whipping cream, it never occured to me before, a great idea!
Definitely going to add this to my rotation!
Ich werde es morgen früh direkt ausprobieren.
Danke für deine Inspiration
Making this one today cant wait!
Thanks for all the wonderful recipes and ideas, Felu. You're an inspiration to me.
I just pour hot water on oats and then mix up the protein powder, and it's so much quicker and delicious too
I use vanilla caseine AND chocolate bar-flavored whey which already is both peanuts and chocolate. A little bit faster; can be done overnight. ;)

Damn this just came out as I was trying to implement oatmeal into my diet for my training. Inspired by Mike Tyson's daily workout routine
Hi Felu, may I ask why you prefer regular milk over for instance oat milk? Has it to do with the lactose?
could u meal prep this? would it be fine in a fridge for 5 days?
I had in the past.
It kind of hardens up like rice if you leave it in the fridge.
10/10 made the thickest bowl of oatmeal
Do we have to keep it overnight or eat right away?
Can I use water instead of milk?
I made a similar recipe with water, and it works just fine. The flavor in the protein powder just works
@@mr.meesicks1801 thanks bromego
Of course, but it won't taste as good. When I do my oats, I use 1 measure of oats, 2 measures of milk and 1 measure of water.
Going to try this but wondering if it can be made in advance? Is it served warm or cold?

Not the greatest macros imo unless you’re on a big bulk. I try to keep my oats as low calorie as possible as they’re already pretty calorically dense.
Yeah it's super easy to load up on calories eating oats. I don't eat more than ⅔ cup per day( already 300 right there)
Ok I’m gonna do it!
I have my own favorite oatmeal recipe which I am not willing to change. But this one seems interesting, should try that definitely 👍
Can i know in which shop are you buying, saw some of the stuff in kaufland tho..
If you dont like oats, you can use Museli. It has a better texture imo and keeps me full.
Oats are the main ingredient for Müsli?!
I thought muesli was just roasted oats and some nuts mixed together

„Weihenstephan” also has 0,1% fat milk with same amount of protein as normal milk.
Getting rid of the peanut butter and oatmeal will shred the calories in half
PNB - 588 calories per 100g with a lot of fat. Oats 379 calories with a ton of fibre and slow release low GI carbs … i would ditch the PNB ONLY
My dumbass thought it was tuna with yogurt
yeah it's called tuna oats, it's new
Yogurt a good substitute for mayo with tuna 😉
Too much work. Add protein powder to yogurt and toss in some berries and oats. Done.
Yuk
And banana with some extra nuts if needed
Oats is a scam. Just skip it entirely and substitute with more fruits.
