I have been playing COC since 2013 so I can say I have enough patience, not having enough gold was no problem cuz that meant i need to grind more and special challenges and tournaments weren't needed back then cuz it was a relatively new game. You guys are spoiled with progressing asap. We earned it, we grinded we worked hard for it.

I played for a year and then quit soon after because of how p2w the game was getting with them adding evolutions and everything. I was thinking about going back, but after hearing they announced evolved mega knight, that sealed the deal. I’m never touching this game again
Another problem is you have only 8 slots to build your deck. They added so many card you can't create a deck counter even half of them and for this the game become match up based

Dude evos at at best a mid game issue the moment you unlock ranked mode you need 1 technically 2 but you can only use 2 if you have a lvl king tower. And despite ranked mode having a level cap you can use 2 evos before the level cap is level 15 so it's blatantly pay to win
Coc is more pay to win as the keep throwing bs every few day for stupid little events.both games push for players to spend but coc you have gold pass you have coc skins you also got skins for your village.you got the new builder which also requires 1000 gems the list goes on.clash royale has some of the same tower skins and also a gold passes it might seem like no one likes royale but it's a pretty fun game compared to coc royale is fast paced and coc takes yrs to build one building. What royale needs is a global chat so we can meet other players like coc had sucks we cant also add random people we 2v2 with you have to join there and play a game with them so you can add them which is petty stupid both games need work
yeah they also dont get that much view when they release new season look at brawl stars their every brawl talk gets like 10 million plus views everytime and clash royale has more downloads than brawl start but still they dont get
I remember playing in 2019 it was fun in arena 6 but now in arena 15 my card levels are to low compared to everyone else's to go up trophy's
