It's panning out nicely! I was worried about the left door of the left cabinet hitting your tall cabinet but then you opened it to show the lighting and it works well! Definitely inspiring!
Paint the fridge black and add it to the cabinets on your wife's side. It will come in handy in the summer when you and the kids don't have to run in the house to get a drink. Or when the car guys are over
Not worth the effort haha. The fridge is super old and more of a nuisance than anything. Kitchen isn’t too far off the garage so they can run in and grab a drink if they need to. A little exercise didn’t hurt anyone haha.
Light: get a flat long metal strip from box store. Create holes and mount it under the top cabinets. Then make holes or something for the light to mount to that. Just an idea. Also, I got a pair of LED light strips from Amazon that have a motion sensor on them. USB C reached. Have a pair on my laser machine and my 3D printer. Came with mounting hardware sticky tape with magnet pieces.
Looks great! maybe think about installing 4" bench vise on that "raised" cabinet. I have a vise on my 72" lower husky box and use the thing all the time. Everything flow great and i really like your idea of lighting inside the cabinets.... may have to steal that one haha.
You can add another small cabinet next to the single small one. Lowe's sells 1/2 wood top, just need to sand and seal. Then it would give you a full counter top to work with. Plus it would be uniform with the upper. Just an idea
I need to leave some space there by the door. My wife parks on that side and bringing cabinets or a fixture to the stairs would make it impractical and difficult to navigate. I did think of it though but just wouldn’t work in the space.
Good redesign. Too bad about warm under-cabinet lights but you found creative solution! Terrific. We have the Whirlpool Gladiator Diamond Tread cabinets, tool chests, and GearWall everywhere. Infinitely customizable and quickly reconfigurable. Wonderful space.
Love the idea of how you lifted the other cabinet . Looks clean I can tell your a stickler for cleanliness just by your old Subaru to the bmw now and also the garage . But you could always slide empty Milwaukee boxes under there or not haha. The 55 inch tv idea is great , only recommendation I would say is buy a cheap basic sound bar that can hang right under the tv , with a wireless sub. Maybe you could use the sub for that corner for the mini fridge to sit on . Plus it clears the speakers off the work bench . Either way I know you’ll make it look great . Ps do they lights shining on the work bench bug you at all they look a little yellowish on TH-cam and I can tell you like a nice white led look.
Thank you. I have some nicer edifier speakers and a Polk sub wired up to the tv so no need for the sound bar. My buddy came up with a good idea for the sub. Going to slide it under the freezer in that corner. It’ll hide it nicely and open up more space. It’s nice and white in person. No shining or glare in the work bench. But will be changing out the worktop for a different color soon so that will change as well.
Wondering what you ended up with. I would have left the tv where it is in the video. It's fine. If you sandwich it between the cabinets, it will look cramped and you will lose a lot of viewing angle in my opinion. I have the same size garage, and it's challenging to do anything with it if you want to park both cars inside.
Dude. You're really outdoing yourself here. Looking amazing. Love the cabinet/shelf combo with the lighting. Really adds a nice touch. You probably answered this in a prior video when you initially mounted it, but noisewise, does the pressure washer make a ton of noise - especially being inside the garage with a potential echo? I have the OG Active and while it doesn't seem too loud when I drag it out to the driveway, if I have it pulled in closer toward the garage the echo seems pretty bad. Just curious. Great job so far!
I appreciate that. It’s really coming together. The active 2.0 isn’t as quiet as the kraznle, but not as loud as the other box store options. Matt did a decibel test on all of them and it’s in the middle between the louder ones and quiet kranzle.

Thanks! Everything opens fully with no rubbing or clearance issues.
Wow ! Those cabinets with the interior lights are fantastic ! Overall it's superb congrats on your project .

Man! LOVING the way this is turning out!!
Cabinet turned nice. I have the Whirlpool cabinets in my garage, I installed mine over 8 years ago and still love them.
You know you're reaching top tier man status when you're customizing the garage 🦸🏽💪🏾😆
Excellent job i have been showing the guys at work your ideas.
Great progress. I honestly have always liked Husky and plan on also getting that when i build my garage.
I love my New Age Cabinets !

Sweet set-up! Looking great

You can also get a 4-inch piece of black metal flashing and use it as baseboards to hide the bottom of the cabinets for a cleaner look
Yes! I was thinking of doing some type of kick plate around the work bench and cabinet to hide the bottoms.

Thank you for the videos
Looking great bro nice job!
I personally went w the kobalt cabinets bc I have grey toolboxes … I’m jealous how good it looks all matching

Are you going to order a custom length counter top for both the tool box or just gonna leave it like this ?
I still have it like this as I haven’t found anything worthwhile that isn’t crazy expensive. I’m still looking for the right counter top.
Hey man, great setup. How wide is that pressure washer? Is that an 18" shelf?
Yes 18” shelf

OG active? The VE52? Think that their original model, right?
Yes that’s the original active. 2.0 is far superior. I’ve had both.
@@Autofreakgarage 2.3 is on its way very soon
How much props did you give to your wife for the fridge idea? Great ideas are epic!! 🥂👏🏽
It’s been about a week since she came up with the idea and we did it. I’m still telling her how good of an idea it was haha.
@@Autofreakgarage that’s what’s up lol
Are the Husky cabinets double walled like the New Age Pro?
double-wall doors
Can that fridge door be flipped? That would make it easier to get into
I believe so but I prefer it going out that way as it won’t slam against the wall when opened.
Any regrets going husky? I'm in the cabinet area or my garage right now trying to figure out who to go with.
No regrets. For the price, I think it’s hard to beat. I’ve had the tool box for 4 years now and holding up very well.
@@Autofreakgarage did you go husky heavy duty or husky pro?
@stephenculcasi heavy duty
What spacers did you use for the smaller cabinet?

Keep the new cabinet there (Raise it) but get a new TV to even everything out.
Welp wish I watched all the way through first
great minds think alike haha. Appreciate you for watching it through. The end has shows it all much better.
