Fung could've just told Omi this instead of just the cryptic "Its power might overwhelm a dragon in training."
Adults tell kids not to fuck with stuff for good reasons. But instead of just saying so, they should, you know...Go into DETAIL about those reasons!!
I can tell you why they don't. It's not a good reason, but it's the most likely one.
Adults: "Nobody gave me details about why I shouldn't do such-and-such, and I turned out fine!"

Maybe, but considering Fung snatched the ring before Omi could pit it on, that should have been indicative for Omi to not use it.
@@parkerboy795 Yeah While Fung had some partial part, Omi's ego could also be the to blame ignore the orders of his master to try and prove him(Master Fung) wrong.
If Master Fung doesn't speak in vague cryptic warnings, you take away a good chunk of his dialogue.
And this is why the Ring of the 9 Dragons was rarely ever used.

Omi is so uneducated since he is an orphan and just knows about monk training but he has not been taught about the world
i like how later on jack uses the wu to do basic excercises like basketball to further improve each one and create a better whole

That could have been a hidden power of this wu. Could have been omi’s way of unlocking his true power, but also Jack’s too

If it’s nine dragons why are there five of them
The ring of the nine dragons allows the user to divide themselves up to nine clones. Which means you can choose how many clones you can produce. The first time Omi used the ring. He chose to split himself into 3. The second time he splits himself to 5.
Why did Dashi make the Ring Of Nine Dragons the way it is?
Why divide everything?
If you took this ring, divided and trrained, would you get 5 times the result when you merge back like in Naruto?
It has not been confirmed but in theory its possible
probably yes but the caveat is that if one of your divided selves is killed off that part of your power is lost forever and never returns when you are made whole.

My guess, instead of dividing your abilities by up to 9; it'd multiply your individual potential up to 9 times.
