    My grocery store makes this with the cheese , red pepper and panko bread crumbs and I spend way too much money on it. Finally planted my own kale to do this with

      Their kale salad is so good. The texture is really similar but I still don’t know their dressing. Maybe one day 😂😂

      Just made my first batch- including the massage 😊. Added a bit of green cabbage, crushed up almonds and for the dressing I’m using Marzetti Slaw dressing. Tastes very similar! I read the dressing is cider vinegar & Dijon. Yum!

      @@simplymadeeatsit’s like some sort of sweet coleslaw dressing. I saved my chopped almonds from my last stop & made it myself. I used a fig balsamic and it was delicious! You’re never alone!!

    It might be a good idea to remove your ring before massaging the kale. Think about all of the germs under your ring (especially if you wear it all day every day).

    • @simplymadeeats
      @simplymadeeats  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I hardly wear it when I cook..just one of those days 😜

    Great salad. How about giving the kale a quick rinse under the sink just after massaging it and before dressing it. This will take away the bitterness from the release of the the cyanates caused by the massaging.

      Thank you! I’ve never tried it! Usually I rinse them first, but I would definitely give that a try.

      Thanks Will! I usually give them to my chickens, but you could roast them in the oven with a little olive oil & salt or sauté them in a pan and use them in pastas 😍

      I chop some kale up finely and use instead of parsley for garnish, throw in pasta sauce, in stews, soups. No need to soften before using this way... grab all the nutrients you can for healthy bones throughout life
