Hi, Your video is amazing. I have a question. I have got an invitation letter, program name is Global Marketing in Management, but I want to change it to TESOL is it possible?
I just got accepted to BU yesterday!! I visited the campus back in 2019 after I completed my freshman year of high school and I really had a fabulous visit so this one felt really special. Don't know yet if I'll actually attend, but I'm so happy I got accepted. One of my top choices. Computer Engineering. I'm also really interested in film and video production.
Friendly reminder to those who are accepted and don’t plan to go to BU to withdraw your application, so I can get off the waitlist and go to this school lol 😭🙏🏻
hey girl! love the video! definitely sums up the great parts about bu! i don’t regret my decision to come to bu, it’s been such a lively and surreal experience to be here in boston! can’t wait to be exploring more of it :)
Hi Mira, I'm starting at BU this spring as a transfer student coming from Binghamton. I had a lonely, traumatic experience that caused me to withdraw and go back home ...This video has me very optimistic and excited about what's to come! I definitely need a social life at college and this has me looking forward to meeting great people! Thanks for doing this, even thought it's almost two years ago. Cheers.
hi!! i’m so glad that my video helped you get excited about the new semester!! college can be super hard, but i’m so proud of you for starting over as a transfer student!! YOU GOT THIS!! i hope you have the best time at BU, i’ll be rooting for ya :)
Thank you for the video! Speaking towards BU having so many different majors as a large school, that's actually the main reason why I'm am transferring to BU! Because the major I want to pursue isn't offered at my current school, it is a little more niche/less popular, I want to transfer to a school that has it (BU) so that I can take classes that center around my academic interests much more.
Question... what role does legacy play for an otherwise qualified applicant? My sons grandfather earned his its PhD at BU and went on to become a Dean of a department at U-Mass Boston. We toured BU and my son seeks admission to thr business school.
Hi, I loved your video! I just got accepted to BU for class of 2026. Although, my first semester is in spring 2023 and my second semester is the 6 week program in London! Do you happen to have any thoughts or opinions on this program? I am still a little hesitant.
hey!! first off, congrats on getting accepted!! :) regarding the program, i actually don’t know too much about it but i would suggest emailing admissions and asking if they can get you in contact w a student who has done the program before so you can ask them about their experience!! hope that helps and congrats again! :)
hey! there's no specific "welcome kit" but BU has a week long event called "weeks of welcome" where they host a lot of fun free events for students on campus and give out goodies and such :)
@MiraDhakal I am planning to apply for Phd program from Nepal .So, I would like to know how competitive it is to get admission into the PhD program at BU?. Additionally, I have 3.91 CGPA in my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering.
hi meera ! I’m your long lost cousin from nepal 🇳🇵😅 lol xd ! anyways can you do a video on how BU graduate process works ? love your content and your vibe :3 xoxo
hey!! i don’t actually know too much about the graduate process but if you email admissions@bu.edu they should be able to help! thanks so much for watching, i’m so glad you are here! :)
hey!! i lived in kilachand hall my freshman and sophomore year and i think it’s great for underclassmen! warren and west are rly great for freshman too bc it’s so easy to meet people and make friends on your floor!! right now i’m living in south campus and i love the residential feel :) as for the chipotle it’s in fenway! around a 15min walk from south campus :)
hey! it really shouldn’t. i knew SO many people who changed their major multiple times and they were totally fine! switching your major at college is really common :)
Hello Mira! I am applying to BU tmrw but there was just one concern of the accusations to a professor named Christophor Cavalieri at film department. Was he your professor before or do you know anything about him?
hi!! i personally never had him as professor but since he was an advisor for butv10 i did have a couple interactions with him. while i don’t know much about the specific accusations, i will say that he kind of gave off bad vibes (very much a man in the entertainment industry type feel u know). i know that others also felt very uncomfortable around him and i would avoid him if possible. that being said, i had nothing but positive experiences with the other BU COM faculty and felt like the professors were overall amazing. hope that helps!!
Absolutely love the video!!! I am an incoming freshman and may I ask if first year students are allowed to park on campus. I have contacted the BU admissions and they said that I can just get a parking pass and I’ll be fine. However, when I went onto the website, it says that most of the parking permits are not available for first year students so I am pretty confused. Do you know if there are any ways that freshmen can park their cars on the campus ? Thanks a lotttt
hey!! thanks so much for the kind words :) hmm to be honest, i'm actually not too sure about how parking works at BU!! since the campus is right in the city, i only used public transportation or walked but i would reach back out to admissions and find out who exactly you have to talk to to apply for a parking permit and ask them to confirm!! good luck!!
My daughter got accepted to both BU and NU for design. Do you have any insight about the design program in both schools? Would you recommend her to go to BU for design major?
hi! congrats to your daughter on those acceptances! i personally don’t know too much about the design major at BU, but you could try emailing admissions and ask if you could get connected with a BU design student so they can talk more about their experiences! hope that helps :)
