bornonthe rimofchaos I live in Chapel Hill, NC they have a program called Music empowerment where they proved free 40 minute one on one lessons once a week for the kids in the district. My boys been playing for 3 years now but I only found out by accident about it. My oldest plays guitar, my middle son plays the drums and my youngest plays the piano( keyboard) . They provide the instrument if you don’t have one.
@@Jerseysfinest12 that's a wonderful program to give children a chance to experience of learning to play an instrument. I wish that I would of had that opportunity when I was younger. Thank you for sharing with me. Your kids are blessed to have you as a Mother.
Well as somebody who was taught a violin, the props is to the family. The first 3 years are hard and kids don't want to do it and need to be pushed. Unlike other instruments it takes a while before you get to cool stuff.

Reauxs Smith I know what you men. But music is always cool. My boyfriend played the tuba and was on the drum line in high school band. I played the clarinet. Teaching music at a young age makes kids smarter (seriously) but yes , I wish kids didn’t think band or orchestra was lame and for nerds.
