Sir thanks for your videos i learned a lot. Just one comment. I think your answer is wrong at 7:24 the problem was founding the probability of a red face card. dont you think it is supposed to be 5/51? thank you
I agree. The video has stated that problem incorrectly. There are only six RED face cards, total, in a deck of cards. If one red face card is already eliminated, then the total possible outcomes for the next card choice should be expressed as 5/51.
The probability for the last question should be 5/51 right? Because there are 6 red face cards, 1 already been drawn and there are 5 left. The video is really helpful overall!!
Why should the probability in 7:24 be 5/51? There are 4 red face cards in the deck and one has already been drawn so the probability of drawing another red face card is 3/51. No? Thank you for your videos! They're very helpful.
+Peter Dräxler Yes, you are correct. I annotated the correction but maybe it didn't show for you. It would be 11/51 if the probability was for a face card. 5/51 because the question is for a RED face card.

I meant to ask whether the probability for a red face card is 3/51 instead of 5/31. There are 4 red face cards in the deck and one of them has been drawn.
at 7:34 the answer should be 1/51 because, Total no. of outcomes is 50C1 & No. of favourable outcome is 2C1, because we need to select 1 red face card out of remaining 2 face cards. So my answer is (2C1)/(50C1) = 1/51
it is clear that you know probability, but sir, i am not sure you know cards well.. red cards are hearths and diamonds. and face cards are j,q and k. two kind has their own j,q and k's. so no. of red face cards is 6. the answer will be 5/51.

@@BanksterSlayer Checked the comments to make sure I wasn't crazy. That's the same answer I got.
I caught that too. There are 6 red face cards in a deck, not 12.

Yes, I notated this correction. My answer would be if the second card was any face card.
Thank you

Wouldn't there be 6 red face cards out of the 12 because of half and black? so it could be 5/51

Loving the videos,watched them all.
this video is so good. It's easy to understand ;)

+Peter Dräxler There are 12 face cards, 6 of which are red. So it would be 5/51.
there are 6 red face cards: the king, queen, jack of hearts and diamonds or 3 heart face cards plus 3 diamond face cards
at 7:34 the answer should be 1/51 because,
Total no. of outcomes is 50C1 &
No. of favourable outcome is 2C1, because we need to select 1 red face card out of remaining 2 face cards. So my answer is (2C1)/(50C1) = 1/51
There's a problem. There are only 6 red face cards in a deck, so the answer is actually 5/51 = .098 or 9.8%

You helped me so much! Thank you.
yay, i also felt that. not so much of an important point.. just to meet the question written and the answer you gave there:)
Thank you, this made things very clear
That last bit was confusing. It should have been fixed in the video, not just with an annotation. However, overall, I did find the video helpful.

Helpful video. Thanks!
again, it is wrong in the video though :D
I must be so fucking dumb. I don't get statistics.
